Eaglestar smiled as they approached. "Welcome, both of you." she said warmly. "You two have been apprentices for some time now, haven't you?" she said conversationally, waving her long tail behind her.

Falconpaw

When Eaglestar called out for the meeting for the first time, Falconpaw had almost got up and walked away again, but she stayed besides Spiderpaw. Her reason? She didn't want to hear a second boring lecture from the apprentice. The first time was annoying enough, and if he tried scolding her another time, she'll swipe off his ear. So she stayed for Spiderpaw's health; it wouldn't be good if he lost an ear now.
Of course Eaglestar had to get distracted by some cat coming into camp. The stupid leader had an attention span worse than the bird she was named after! It turned out that it was some dumb Flameclan cat, what a shame. There were far too little Stoneclan cats that survived the fire. How unfair! If only there was a way to lower the amount of Flameclan cats in this stinkin' clan.
Falconpaw focus even less on Eaglestar once she tried to organize the cats again. Laying down, the she-cat rested her head on her paws and closed her eyes. None of what Eaglestar was saying concerned her anyway, so why should she pay any attention?

Olivebreeze nodded silently, flicking Flutterpaw's ear with her tail affectionately. Though the brown-and-white tabby hadn't had much to do with Flutterpaw before, she was widely known for being friendly, and somehow Flutterpaw's fragile form provoked a motherly protectiveness in her, much like what she felt towards Stormpaw. She beckoned for the smaller she-cat to follow her, leading the way out of the makeshift camp and passing Stormpaw, who was carrying a rabbit nearly as big as herself.

The female apprentice purred cheerfully, trotting beside the warrior. Her plush tail swished behind her cheerfully and took in the sights outside of the temporary camp. She hadn't left the safety of it's temporary borders as much as some of the other apprentices due to a mishap with a rabbit who had turned and scratched her along the chest. It hadn't been deep, but became infected after a short while. "Thanks for taking me, Olivebreeze." She chirped gratefully, blinking her big hazel eyes up at the warrior. It was clear how happy she was to be out of the confining walls of the camp.


{Sorry that reply took me so long, I haven't had the best week... I found out my best friend might be moving halfway across the world in a year or two, and... It's not the greatest feeling. I'll aspire to post more, on CS and on this RP! }

She smiled and waited for her to speak again. She looked around. She couldn't wait. She wanted to get a apprintence so bad. She smile at her brother and the others.

Olivebreeze grinned, feeling her heart lift with the simple pleasure of hunting. She'd never had an apprentice, but now, thinking of the best way to hand a few tips over to Flutterpaw, she thought it'd be enjoyable. "So," she meowed, slowing slightly as they entered a clearing. "What can you scent, Flutterpaw?" It was a challenging task, especially for an apprentice; there were many layers of scents mixed in the clearing, as it seemed several cats had visited it recently as a hunting ground. She watched the younger she-cat intently, wondering if Flutterpaw would be able to pinpoint the vague prey scents.

Stormpaw swept her tail from side to side out of nervousness, wondering how long Eaglestar planned to make small talk. The gray apprentice felt her heart sink as a possibility occurred to her: maybe Eaglestar wasn't about to make her a warrior after all. Maybe she just wanted to point out the fat rabbit she'd caught, or punish her for falling behind earlier. But I haven't even had an assessment yet! she thought, forgetting to answer Eaglestar in her frenzied excitement.

Eaglestar held in a laugh at the way the apprentices stared at her. She remembered how she'd felt on the day of her ceremony; perhaps it was cruel to make them wait.
"Alright, enough with the small talk." she said with a smirk. Raising her voice as she looked out over the clan, she continued.
"To begin the ceremonies today, it is time to welcome some new warriors to our clan!" She closed her eyes for a moment, remembering the familiar words of the ceremony, then began.
"I, Eaglestar, leader of SunClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down upon these apprentices. They have trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend them to you as warriors in their turn."
She turned her gaze to Stormpaw first.
"Stormpaw. Do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life?" she asked the young cat solemnly.

Shadowpaw pricks his ears in curiosity for Miststep's return. He was her clanmate in FlameClan, but he never got to know her that well. He bounded towards Songpaw and silently took a seat next to her, his fur lightly brushing hers. "Hi, Songpaw." he whispers. He didn't want to interrupt the meeting, so he quickly shut his mouth before he would talk any more to the she-cat. The apprentice let his eyes wander until they reached Eaglestar, and his whiskers quivered when an exciting thought came to his mind. Is this it? Will I finally meet my mentor? I wonder who it will be! A big grin crept onto his face as he glanced from Frostwing to Pineclaw; from Raccoonstrike to Pebblerun, even to Eaglestar herself.Who will it be? His paws were itching for the answer.

Stormpaw puffed out her chest. So I am being made a warrior! Is this real? Am I dreaming? What will my name be? Thoughts tumbled through her head, but she was barely conscious of them. She was thinking of her kittypet origins. Am I really destined to be a warrior? Stormpaw wondered. She had, after all, had a kittypet mother and father. Her first few moons had been spent eating out of a hard, brightly colored bowl, and she had been used to the twolegs stroking her fur at night. She shouldn't be able to remember that far back, but she did, and what scared her so much was that she missed being looked after. Don't be stupid. Olivebreeze is more of a mother than my real one was. She snapped back to the present, training her eyes on Eaglestar.

Berchpaw he smiled as he heard he was becoming a warrior he looked back to his odl mentor' tigerclaw' with a smile and drew his attention back to eaglestar

Redfern looked at the kits who would become apprentices wondering who woukd be his apprentice.

Stonekit looked up at eaglestar wishing someday she was his mentor when he grew up "tigerclaw is that the clan leader?" He askrd never meeting her before face to face.

Eaglestar paused, waiting expectantly for Stormpaw's customary reply of "I do." Did she know that was what she was supposed to say? Eaglestar had assumed she'd been taught that in RainClan, but with all the chaos of the fire she would have missed some training. Should she have talked to the apprentices beforehand? She probably should have. The thoughts raced through the leader's head. Maybe Stormpaw just needed a moment? Did she have doubts about becoming a warrior?
