Azaria stood up quicker than lightnig and ran over to Cody. "Talk to me." She nuzzled his nose gently with care. "I promise I will help you in anyway you need me to." Her eyes filled with worry and tears, but she tried to hold the silver drops in her eyes back, but they fell and landed on Cody's cheek.

Cody twitched his foot once again and sucked in air sharply. "Yeah, Im fine," he said hoarsely while trying to stand up. He put some weight on it and sat back down with a big flop. He sat silently before closing his eyes and laughing. It wasn't just a small, short laugh, it was a big laugh. He could not believe he was trying to show off and ended up hurting himself. He got up once more and slowly put weight on it. It hurt, but he would manage. He turned around and pumped into her, backing up and laughing quietly. "Haha, sorry, Ill be fine, but thanks." he said with a charming smile.

Esmeralda stepped back. She wasn't as worried as Azaria. She knew the stallion would be ok, if he was standing up. She thought for a moment, and wondered if there were any Kelpies who knew what to do with a leg like this. "Maybe, we can go to the pond again. The coolness of the water will help bring the swelling down. Do you think you can walk there?" She nudge the side of him.

Azaria hid her face away from the Kelpies. She was embarrassed. She turned to go back to the pond. "Okay. I'm sorry." She turned away quickly and headed back to the pond.

Cody nodded and started walking slowly towards the water. "Seriously, I will be fine," he said while gritting his teeth. He was happy to be able to lean some of his weight on Esmerelda. The pain started to numb as he walked more and more on the swollen ankle. He smiled to himself for being such a dork and let his mane hang over his eyes.

Esmeralda looked back at Azaria. "No wait where you going? I need help." She looked at Cody who was wincing in pain as they wobbled to the pond. "Azaria, please help me, I can't do this on my own." She winked at the mare as if to say, 'Now's your chance!'. She smiled, at Azaria and Cody, who was hiding his face in embarrassment. She tried not to laugh, and was able to hold it back.

Azaria turned back to look at Esmeralda and ran back up on the other side of Cody."being hurt isn't being okay." She told Cody.

"Definitely," Pruina replied, surging forward again, hooves flying across the ground. Alright, perhaps Kelpies were not as fleet of foot and swift as a Throughbred or an Arabian, but they were certainly swift nonetheless if given the opportunity to run. Pruina gave a high-pitched whinny of elation as she sped through the grass, a competitive gleam entering her eye as the male Kelpie made his way up to them. He wouldn't be able to catch up to them that easily! Pruina readied herself to put on another burst of speed, but the sudden disappearance of the male Kelpie startled her; as she looked back, she noticed that he had fallen. Stopping in her stride, Pruina anxiously made her way over to the other Kelpie, who was clearly in pain and distress.

"Are you alright?" she asked nervously, then thinking to herself that he obviously wasn't. Fortunately, Esmeralda had saved her from further embarrassment by asking the right questions, and Pruina stood a few metres away, off to the side, as Azaria rushed over. Pruina gave a low whinny of concern; having rarely interacted with other Kelpies before, she was somewhat unsure towards what she ought to be doing in this situation. She allowed an exhale of relief as the male Kelpie struggled to his hooves- though he was certainly injured, it didn't seem critical enough to prevent him from moving around- somewhat. However, what Pruina knew of males reminded her that they often tried to keep up an appearance of being strong, though they weren't necessarily so. A leg injury, though, could easily be devastating to any Kelpie. After all, that was how her father had died- he had received what seemed like a minor bite from a snake, but it had turned out to be a cottonmouth. Within several days his condition had deteriorated, for the legs were fragile and succumbed easily to the cottonmouth's poison. Pruina brushed the grief away- that was an event of the past, and right now she had more things to worry about.

"Are you sure you're going to be fine?" Pruina asked, flicking her tail again { it seemed to be a sort of nervous habit }. Both Azaria and the male Kelpie seemed to be quite nervous, and Pruina trotted alongside Esmeralda, seeing as Azaria was already also attending to him. The best thing she thought she could do was trot ahead and make sure there were no other risks, for when the other two Kelpies were concentrating on the male's injury, they might not be paying as much attention as to where they were stepping. She shoved a few stray rocks aside with her hooves; other than that, there seemed to be no obstacles that would hinder their movements towards the pond, which was just a short distance away.

Cody sighed and looked at Azaria. He nufged her neck to reassure her, "It will heal fast. It could be a lot worse." His step perked up as he as he noticed the nearing pond. He could already imagine the cool feel of the water on his ankle.

Azaria couldn't help but blush when Cody nudged her. "But still, being hurt is not being okay." She helped push him along and they finally reached the pond. She backed away from Cody's side but stayed closed in case they needed her. "Be careful." She called out. "Please be careful." She mumbled the last sentence to herself. She cared about the Kelpies. More than anything in the world. And it killed her inside to see one hurting.
