Twilightpaw held his catch loosely but with pride and gleaming green eyes. His side's were heaving as he regulated his breathing. The Tom began padding silently back to camp to deliver this to the Fresh-kill pile, sticking to the shadows. Reaching his home the cat dropped it on the pile, along with a bird he'd caught, before cleaning his pelt of any dust picked up in the hunt

Rainpelt nosed her kits from the nursery, letting them roam around the cave. Rainpelt sat up tall and proud and watched her kits play around.

Twilightpaw sat up and yawned. He spotted the kits and their mother across the clearing that made up the centre of camp. He smiled gently, watching the young kits roll around soppily. It It brought back some good memories of his kit hood with his mother and he blinked at the with happiness.

Rainpelt looked up to see Twilightpaw watching. She smiled at him.

Noting he was being watched the apprentice padded slowly over, grabbing a mouse on the way. He nosed each small warm body gently before looking up at their mother "Hungry?"he asked the queen politely.

Rainpelt nodded. "Thankyou, Twlightpaw." He meowed, and started eating the vole he got her.
