Sparkpaw flinched when a flying drop of water hit him on the nose, waking him from his sleep. "Do you mind?" He muttered crossly to Hawkpaw.

"Hm?" He turned his head to Sparkpaw. "Sorry, but you were wet already anyway." Hawkpaw chuckled, licking a paw.

"Oh yeah.." Sparkpaw muttered, looking down at his soaked fur. "I guess I forgot."

Hawkpaw grinned. "You seemed to be sleeping just fine like that, but a drop of water wakes you up?"

Leafkit returned to the medicine cat den, absolutely soaked. He shook his long hair, and splatter water all over his nest.

Rainpaw woke up by the chat of the other mews. She sighed then stood up swiftly she stood there her tail limp. Her fur was soaking she peeked out of the den seeing rain. She turned around as her fur became even more wet she tried shaking it off. She licked her paw.She went out of the den. She walked over near the fresh-kill pile feeling hungry. She stared glaring at a warm plump bird. She shook her head. "A loyal cat would let the kits and old eat the warmest, mouth watering, plump, yummy, prey first." She reminded her self ashamed. Instead she walked away asked a warrior if she could hunt again, He nodded. Rainpaw walked out of camp tasting the wet, damp, air. She scented a warm recent scent of a vole. She stalked to it waiting for it making a move to notice her. Making sure the vole did not see her. She pounced on the tiny animal killing it with a swift bite. "It's so skinny and scrawny...." She mewed. Walking over to a log seeing a squirrel. She leaped over the squirrel giving it swift bites. Rainpaw looked at the prey. She walked back to camp laying them on the fresh kill pile. "I'm soooooo hungry..." She said staring at the scrawny mouse trying to not be greedy. She went outside to hunt for more prey.

Hawkpaw grinned. "You seemed to be sleeping just fine like that, but a drop of water wakes you up?"

"It would wake you up too if it landed on your nose!" Sparkpaw laughed. "Is it still raining?" He glanced out of the den to see the downpour, then answered himself. "Yes."

Hawkpaw chuckled. "Yes, it is. It's raining hard, too." He looked out of the den quietly. "It could flood, possibly."
