Cassidy's parents through disapproved of Cassidy's strong friendship with Fawn. They thought Cassidy should spend more time with people her age. So Cassidy's parent's, John, and Star put Fawn in the kennel for a month (because they were rich) to see is Cassidy would resort to playing with kids her age. It worked. When John picked Fawn up from the kennel Cassidy barely paid any attention to her. Star took Fawn for walks like Cassidy used to and John had to yell to get Cassidy to feed, water, and let Fawn out. Cassidy everyday had friends over and one day Star decided this was enough. So she and John sat down with their daughter and they said "If you don't walk, feed, water,and let Fawn out were just gonna get rid of her because it's a lot of money to spend on dog food." Then Cassidy said something that broke Fawns heart, "Fine. I don't care about Fawn." Then Cassidy left to go to her friends house. That rainy night Fawn was left on the side of the street with a broken heart and a broken spirit.

One time after they caught Blue running away they put her on the stove top that was on and burnt her.Another time when she was caught running away she was tied to the bottom of the family's pool and almost drowned. Finally Blue got away and is now roaming the streets half starved and lonely.
