Midnightstar waited a few moments as waited to grab the attention of his clanmates below the rock. At the corner of his eyes the tom spotted Sunpaw with a she cat, a collar was around her neck. He knew that she was a kittypet and decided to deal with it when he was finished with the announcement. "Lunarkit you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Lunarpaw. I ask StarClan to watch over you and guide you until you find in your paws the strength and courage of a warrior." Midnightstar meowed his voice echoing throughout the clearing, with a flick of his tail he beckoned Twistedsun. "Twistedsun, you are ready to take on an apprentice. You had received excellent training, and you have shown yourself to be fierce and noble. You will be the mentor of Lunarpaw, and I expect you to pass on all you know to her." Midnightstar finished as he waited for them to touch noses.

The calico tom padded towards camp and spotted the entrance ahead, that is when he remembered about what happened this morning and rolled his eyes. When he entered the clearing Midnightstar was calling a meeting. Perfect timing. Sunpaw perked his ears up when he looked over towards Lunarpaw who was now a apprentice. He turned towards Queenie to say something but heard Flurrypaw ask who Queenie was. "She's a Kittypet and wanted to join Oceanclan." He explained

Jasperpaw blinked a couple times, dazed. If he saw correctly, a loner dropped a gull down at his feet and dashed away. What in the name of Starclan? he thought to himself, shaking his head. He quickly and scrappily buried the gull in the sand, marking it with a few scratches. He shrugged and carried on, nearing the cliffs, before hearing Silverpaw's cries. Eyes flashing with panic, he dashed over to where he heard her cries. "Silverpaw!" he meowed urgently. "H-hold on! Jasperpaw's eyes darted from rock to rock, looking for a safe way down- if there was one. His eyes landed on a couple small ledges, leading down to Silverpaw. "There! he shouted, flicking his tail at the ledges. "If you can get to the upper ledge, I should be able to pull you up. Be careful!" he added, tail twitching with nervousness. He tensed his muscles, taking a few steps back and leapt over the gap to the other side.

What she saw was a kit that looked mighty sick and some red berries next to the kit. She remembered when Sunback ate those and became sick as well. Their medic Herbnose luckily was able to save him, but it could've been much worse. She remembered that stinging nettle seeds worked for poison but she didn't know where to find it. "It's ok little one I'm going to bring you back to your camp." She picked the kit up and ran into the camp. "Can someone help this kit?"

x softpaw watched the ceremony with a soft grin. lunarkit - no, lunarpaw! - was a phenomenal kit and would certainly make a wonderful apprentice. twistedsun would be the perfect mentor for the she-cat. he spotted shadestorm and made his way towards her, sitting beside her silently. his vision was cloudy, but, he was sure he could see just how excited the newly-made apprentice was.

Midnightstar nodded his head in approvement at Twistedsun and Lunarpaw, even though Twistedsun was only 4 moons in to his warriorship the tom trusted the tom to handle apprentice, not only that but their were many other mentors to help out if he needed any aid. He opened his mouth to say that the meeting was dimissed but a odd she cat came into camp his neck fur rising slightly. He took a good look and saw Frecklekit in her jaw. "Shadestorm and Softpaw!" Midnightstar called as he jumped down from his rock and ushered over towards the unknown cat.

A small smile found its way onto Shadestorm's face as she watched the apprentice ceremony. At the sound of Midnightstar's call, the medicine cat turned around, tilting her head in a silent question. Her eyes followed Midnightstar's trajectory, landing on Frecklekit. In the mouth of an unknown cat. She started to run, fur bristling and a yowl building up in her throat before she realized that the stranger was holding Frecklekit in a gentle manner, simply carrying the kit. Silly me, she thought to herself with an internal laugh. Anyways, I couldn't have fought another cat off if I tried. She slowed down to a quick trot, glancing back to see if Softpaw was following.

x softpaw jumped as midnightstar called his name. "wha- oh!" softpaw followed midnightstar's gaze to a blurry form and bristled. he followed shadestorm closely, confusion in his gaze. "where was she?" he asked quietly, sniffing the kit's pelt. his eyes widened as he scented the familiar scent of leaves, poultices, and moss. "shadestorm! she was in the medicine den!" he mewed, narrowing his eyes as he knocked the kit out of the stranger's mouth and forced the kit's mouth open. "s-shadestorm, she might've eaten something," he stuttered. he couldn't recall leaving any seeds or berries out in plain sight, but, what would a half-blind soft medicine cat know?
