She walked next to the black and white tom and his apprentice, tail flicking as she lsitened the forest and sniffes the air once or twice, smelling something unfamilliar, but the scent was starting to get weak 'hmm, it's probablt just walked past and is far gone now..' she thought watching the bushes for any suspious movements.

Sighing she sniffed the air and followed the upcoming scent of a mices coming not so far where she was being. Easely she catched the mice and buried it, starting to find another preys she suddently noticed Lionfang in a bush "What are you doing?" she meowed flicking her ears as she heared some talking, noticing the Tigerlily and some stranger cats 'What is she doing?' she thought.

But in reality, she wanted to talk about Seawing, but she thought that it would make him embarrassed or uncomfortable. " Do you have a favorite type of prey? I personally like pigeons and doves, They're meat is so tender and after im done with it i can play wit- I MEAN THE KITS can play with the feathers..... hehe.. uhhh." She was a little embarrassed but at least Seawing could get a good laugh.

"Well I was wondering.. Is there any way for hunting techniques to be used effectively in battle? I've never seen a fight, but I have watched my parents hunt before. There are some similarities in hunting and fighting, right?"

"Oh yes, only the kits can play with feathers. Certainly not us adults, right?" He winked at her playfully so that she knew he was teasing her.
She laughed embarrassingly, but she knew it was only a joke so she was fine. " Yeah, those kits are smarter than you think, well some of them anyway. " She giggled a bit . She took a bite out of the squirrel, it was getting cold but she saved a last bite for Seawing. You know when I was a kit, I used to think adults knew everything, boy was I wrong! She was trying to sound funny but on the inside she remembered some sad kithood memories. Do you want to head back now? Hoping that a walk would cheer up her mood. It was nice here together, she thought. Maybe we can do it again sometime, I even know the perfect place.

She almost said it aloud but she stopped herself so she only said "wait" Wait... uh i mean, wait i smell prey" luckily she did smell prey so she wasn't lying but she only smelled a small mouse. No i must be mouse-brained, he probably did just mean his friend, or at least she hoped.

Riverbriar nodded slowly "Good choice." she said. She lifted her head up "Alright then, let's get going while we've still got plenty of time." she glanced between the two cats with her, her mind already filling with different strategies and ideas. She was hoping to see Lightpaw take on Rabbitleap, she was sure by now he was use to sparring with her and could probably guess what she was doing next. The real test would be against someone he wasn't use to training with. Though she was fairly confident in his skills and was pretty proud of how far he'd come. She was sure he'd be able to impress Ashstar when the time came for them to approach him about Lightpaw's warrior ceremony.

Sootnose had left the rest of the patrol behind, unaware of their exact locations as she hunted on her own. She'd managed to already catch a small vole when she had stumbled upon a squirrel. She crept forward slowly her pawsteps light and when the finally had the chance she shot forward. Though she has miscalculated and the squirrel managed to hit the tree and race up it before she could get to it. She paused, glaring up at it before she huffed, no it wasn't worth it to try to get up there after it.. She shook her head disappointed before she headed off in a different direction hoping to scent something else. Her ears twitched as she listened for her clanmates hoping to not disturb any of them if they were close.

Shadowstep stayed quiet, his gaze flickering to Smoketail "Strange." he commented his tail twitching lightly. "Seem we've got to take extra care on future patrols." he shook himself before he glanced away. He sat down, waiting patiently for Smoketail's next decision. He didn't question hanging back, to be honest he didn't want to crowd everyone regardless of how curious he was. He kept a neutral look on his face as he calmly glanced around.

Rainypaw nodded, she wanted to ask if they smelled like crowfood or worse but she decided to keep quiet. No use asking silly questions, she was suppose to be learning after all.. "Okay Sunfeather!" she replied cheerfully. She looked around one last time before she looked at him again "Are we going to go now?" she asked. She couldn't wait to tell Firewillow all about this later! She was sure she'd be proud of the few things Rainypaw had learned today as she was determined to commit them all to memory so she wouldn't have to ask the same questions twice. She wanted to be a great medicine cat, just like them, she wanted to be someone they could rely on one day. So she needed to try her hardest now or she'd never get there.

Stormypaw slipped away from the others heading off on his own to hunt as well. He headed in the opposite direction of his mentor and the issues with the rogues. He scented the air before he took off stalking after a mouse he'd spotted. This wasn't exactly what he had in mind.. But it would do for now.. Hopefully after this he'd be able to find something actually impressive..

We could give some to the elders for their nests, it looked messy the last time i visited " Im going to get some moss for the elders, would you like some? " She scratched some big wads of comfy moss off the tree. " Its pretty squishy and soft and even dry, I think i could take a little for myself too."
