Cloudwing didn't like the fighting, and he wanted everything to be peaceful again. He stood in between his leader and the arguing cats. "Although this kittypet is not part of our Clan," he explained, "the warrior code also states no warrior can neglect a kit in pain or danger. Kittypets are naive like kits... even if you have objections, we must all obey the leader's words."

Swiftpaw padded away from camp, eyes narrowed as he clawed at the ground.

Rainwing padded forwards. 'Whats happening?'

Emmy searched for her house, mewing.

Cinderpaw chuckled and nudged Blackpaw. "Looks like someone is not happy about this patrol." Swiftpaw had left camp without permission, and Cinderpaw wondered if she should go after him. There was always the possibility he would get into danger... Cinderpaw wanted to protect her Clan.

"Brokenstar wants us to help a kittypet," Cloudwing explained to Rainwing. "Some cats are unhappy about this, so I was explaining how we should help innocent cats who are in trouble. I hope I have not offended anyone."

𝔹𝕒𝕔𝕜𝕤𝕥𝕠𝕣𝕪: Icepaw was born on a cold night in Leafbare. Her mother, Snowbirch, named her Icekit after her Grandmother, Creekice, and her father, Icenose, who was killed in a border skirmish. After Snowbirch died from a falling icicle, Icepaw was raised by Creekice. Icepaw then got apprenticed moons later. She is awaiting a warrior ceremony.

Rainwing was silent as Cloudwing spoke. Then, she quietly asked, 'Why was there a kittypet on the territory in the first place?'

Swiftpaw turned to Icepaw. 'Brokenstar brought a kittypet into camp and she got herself into trouble and now Brokenstar expects US to save the kittypet and accept her as part of the Clan!' He ranted. 'I thought she had more sense!'

``Seriously, Swiftpaw.`` Icepaw grumbled, lashing her tail. ``You're the one who needs some sense. Don't forget most of the Clan is either Non-Clanborn or Half-Clan. Show some respect for them, the kittypet could be a valuable warrior one day. Perhaps even better than you or I.``

Foxpaw heard a yowl and immediately sprang to action, following the yowl with the intelligence of a newborn deer heading straight into the thunderpath (that is to say, none). She sprinted as fast as her tiny legs could carry her, and managed to catch up to a two leg holding a strange cage in its paw. The kittypet from earlier was stuck inside. Foxpaw yelped, and in the spur of the moment, she leaped at the two leg. At the moment, she couldn't be sure whether Icepaw or Leafpaw had heard the loud yell and came running.

Swiftpaw looked at Icepaw stonily. 'She's a random kittypet, brought in and we are expected to love her immediately. Now she's gotten herself into trouble and we are expected to save her. We need more claws to hunt, not more mouths to feed.' He replied, tail lashing.
