" I'm not a very good clan cat though." Not many of the other cats pay much attention to me. I think it's because I'm still newer and the youngest warrior." She said thinking of how she had only just made friends with Pineclaw.

Stormstar smiled warmly "And that is another reason I chose you, you are loyal, and I trust you, it's time the others get that through their heads" she purred "Besides, you were really close to Heathertail" her eyes got slightly misty as she remembered the wise she-cat who had died just a few days ago

Gingersplash's eyes started to water at the thought of her friend. Heathertail had accepted her immediately. But she would not allow anyone to see her cry.
"Thank you. For everything. All I want to do is help the clan and now that I have an apprentice, I'm glad I can finally be of more help to the clan." Her eyes shined with determination.
