{ Okay, sure! }
Saltpaw looked around for her mentor. Everyone else was talking in the camp, but Cornfur wasn't in sight. She sighed. "He promised he would take me hunting today." she muttered to herself. "Hey," a voice behind her greeted. She turned around to see her father, Creekfur. "What are you doing, Saltpaw?" He asked, sitting beside her. "Cornfur said he would take me hunting today," she pouted. "But he hasn't shown up." Creekfur smiled, purring in amusement. "He's probably waiting for you." The young she-cat looked around again, and finally saw her mentor. "Starclan, you're right! Thanks, dad, see you later!" She leapt to her feet and dashed to meet Cornfur.

(Don't feel bad if Cornfur doesn't realize Salmon has a thing for him, he's pretty oblivious to that kind of stuff

)
Cornfur lazily opened one eye as Saltpaw bounded up to him. "It's about time you woke up," He teased. "I've been waiting for you for moons. How does going hunting with Salmonfall and Blitzpaw sound? I think they were going to go hunt at the beach." Cornfur felt antsy to get to the beach and feel the water in his fur once again.

But then there are the comets
Bright and racing past
Everyone takes notice
Even if they do not last
It’s what people remember
The dramatic burning light
That stands out on the landscape
And brightens up the night

Saltpaw smiled. "That sounds great!" She agreed excitedly. "Are we leaving now?" She asked eagerly, running around his feet. "I can't wait to see the water!" The she-cat didn't know much about fishing other than what her half-brother Troutclaw tried to teach her, and she wasn't all that good at it, but she anticipated the lesson no less.
