Heartclaw soon fell sleep.

Thrushtalon's chest gently rose and fell beside him.

Heartclaw's eyes flashed open and he lied by Thrushtalon shaking in fear. All he could see was the blood pouring from the wounds.

Thrushtalon blinked open her eyes. "Are you ok?" She asked, ending with a yawn.

Heartclaw was still shaking. He could still hear the blood curdling cries.

Thrushtalon lay her paw on his shoulder and licked his face. "Heartclaw. Are you ok?"

Heartclaw dropped his head and was still shaking. He closed his eyes and listened to the whispering wind from his dream, I am here for you now, Heartclaw. You time has come, you life will now end, just as it has begun.

"Heartclaw?" Her voice shrilled with panic. "Mothpaw!" She wailed, rising to her paws. "Heartclaw, listen, its me, Thrushtalon. It's ok. I'm here for you. Please, just hang on."
