Peachtail hesitated. "I-I'd like to stay close to you two, to make sure that everything is okay. But I'm not sure how we would go about searching for Leopardtail without straying too far from this place. Maybe we could stay here the night and make our decision in the morning?"

"Of course! I would tell Skypool to sort out your nests, but eh.... She doesn't seem to be around at the moment.... So..... MOSSPAW!" Jackdawstar looked down at Mosspaw."Sort out nests for Peachtail and Steelpelt, please,"

Mosspaw sprung to her paws. "Yes, Jackdawstar!" She bolted out of the medicine cat's den and went to collect the materials needed to build some nests.

"Thanks," Peachtail mewed, smiling slightly. "I do have one more question though. Um...so, you're called Jackdawstar now, right? You've formed a new Clan?"

Steelpelt frowned, but didn't say anything.

Skypool began to trot back to camp, slowly picking up speed until she was swiftly ricocheting through the trees. She veered off to the stream.



"I'll help, Mosspaw!" Foxpaw bounded over.

"Thanks!" Mosspaw purred. "I'll get some moss and leaves. Can you get the grass and feathers?"

Jackdawstar nodded,"Yes. Are you impressed,Peachy?" He put on a whiny voice as if begging for attention.

"Of course." Foxpaw examined the stores for feathers, but didn't find any. She was pleased to see a finch as she walked to the fresh kill pile. She pulled the feathers and carried the whole lot to Mosspaw. "I'll be right back with the grass!" She chirped, carrying the featherless bird to the Medicine den. "Anyone hungry?"
