"Alright!" Skyfrost bounded off into the forest. She clawed up a tree, careful not to open her wounds. Her remaining eye scanned the area and spotted the patrol. She lay down and watched them with interest.

Hawkstar suddenly heard a DarkClan patrol approaching. "They're coming," he said while looking around at his clanmates. "Let's hope that there isn't any trouble."

Rivermist nodded, and looked forward. "Should we tell them about the badger? Or should we make sure it isn't on our territory?" She meowed, flicking an ear. She suddenly looked stern when she caught a scent of something familiar and looked around, her tail waving back and forth. When she found nothing, she shrugged and looked back at the patrol.

Skyfrost shifted her weight, interested in the upcoming confrontation. She wrapped her tail around her paws and waited

Hawkstar thought for a moment. "We'll make an announcement at the gathering. Since the badger ran away, let's hope there won't be any trouble."

"I check the territory after this, just in case. Badgers are stubborn creatures, and there's a possibilty it went back into our territory." Rivermist meowed, her green eyes looking determined. She felt slightly scared to be honest, and a bit tired too. But she wanted to do as much as she could to help her clan. "If that's the case, I'll report back. I think I can handle it on my own." She looked at Hawkstar for approval.

Skyfrost felt a thrill if excitement run through her body. She clambered down the trunk, landing quietly on the leaves. Creeping up behind the cats, she waited for Rivermist's instructions. "I bet she won't find me!" Skyfrost thought as she rolled in the wild garlic patch beneath her. Soon she was coated in a mossy and garlicy smell.

Hawkstar nodded. "Sure. Be careful." He paused. "Where are you going to look?"

"Probably around the area where we had the badger attack." Rivermist replied, flicking an ear. "If it's not there, then I'll check in the area. That's probably where'd it would go to, because its den is there. I noticed it when I was knocked down."
