Eaglestar sighed. "I'll deal with the loner. Let me know as soon as he's able to travel, alright?" She waved her tail, feeling conflicted. "I dislike the idea as much as anyone, but we need to start moving again. And soon. We'll freeze if we're out in the open when leaf-bare starts. And, as we learned today, this place isn't safe even when it's warm." She was reminding herself as much as Appleleaf. It was tempting to let everyone, including herself, rest. But she had to look at the bigger picture.
She turned to leave when she heard a small voice below her. She looked down at the kit. "No, little one, I don't." she said, voice sympathetic. "Nobody here does, I'm afraid. Just eat your herbs, alright? They'll help. I promise." Eaglestar looked over at Shiverwhisker, nudging Stonekit towards him.

"I'll give it a day, two days tops. More likely there is more where that eagle came from. He'll be able to travel with some travelling herbs and assistance." Appleleaf looked up from cleaning Raccoonstripe's wounds. Hopefully no one else would fall victim to those eagles. Appleleaf had been wodnering where they were travelling, so if there are eagles, they must be near the mountains.

He sighed and waited till eagalstar was gone and than ran and hid in the tall grass with tears in his eyes he spoke out loud 'i know im going to starve even if i eat thoughs herbs..i know they wont give me all the nutrition i need to grow big and strong but like anyone would care if some tiny kit dies or goes missing' he still didnt understand everything being so young and all

Sephora had watched the battle with the large bird, at a distance of coarse. She easily made her way to the site of the final move on the eagle. She moved her ears forward, watching the blood stains now decorating the swaying yellow-ish grass. She looked at it for a moment, the flattened grass and scuffed dirt. After silently observing for a moment she departed, her tail sweeping over the clawed dirt to make is a bit more smooth. Her paws met the ground softly as she walked, she was going very slow as she normally did. There was no urgency in her pace, in fact. If you looked closely you could see a small smile in the corner of her mouth. Sephora was often called mysterious and careless, and maybe she was. She didn't walk away, or towards the clan. Kind of parallel to the camp. After a long bit of walking evenly she made a slight turn away and settled somewhere further off. She sat down and began grooming the dirt out of her coat and paws, left with nothing better to do.

"Stonekit?" Appleleaf stood up and walked into the grass after the small kit. Those herbs will do you for now, you'll be starting to eat prey soon anyway. Only the best kits are offered herbs." She said trying to convince the small kit to eat them. "Trust me, I'm a medicine cat." She added with a kindly tone.

He looked up with tears in his eyes and stood up and got into a crouch position "but its not the same im only 3 moons old to and..and!" He spat

Spiderpaw slowly followed after Stonekit and sat down beside him, curling his tail around the small thing. "Dont say that, we'd miss you very much if you passed on and went with StarClan. I assure you, things will be alright. Don't worry. If I have to spend days trying to find you some milk, I would. We all would." He meowed, trying to cheer the kitten up. He wasn't sure if he was helping or not, but he did hope he was. "You don't seem too small though. You're running well, and you just seem skinny. I'm sure we could give you some meet, and things would be alright. I mean, three moons is usually the age queens start feeding their kittens meat. That's when I started eating it."

Turning back to Shiverwhisker, Spiderpaw looked up at the tom and cocked his head. He sorta needed help on this one, and figured that his mentor would know what to do in the end. Spiderpaw had done all he could to help, but did feel that it wasn't really working. He wished that this 'clan' had a queen in it, someone to take care of the kitten.

"They're is right." he meowed, not looking up or even moving from getting sorting out the traveling herbs. he liked his task of medicine cat. He didn't have to worry about Clan rivalries and such. The grey tom was used to being with cat's from the doffrent Clans, so this was basicly normal to him. It reminded him of a forever half-moon gathering with the medicince cats, just with the rest of their Clans.

Stonekit dug his face into spiderpaws fur with tears dripping on spiderpaws fur.

The medicine cat apprentice dipped her head and sprang away, realizing the seriousness of the situation. From what she could see, the warrior's wound looked deep but thankfully small. Sprucepaw loped away from the den, heading deeper into the grass. She thought it unlikely to find dock here in these fields, but she had too look. Meanwhile, moss would be easier. It didn't take long before she found a clump near a cluster of rocks, and had it dampened with water from a large puddle. She could see the camp from where she was, so taking the moss back first was the best idea. She raced through the grass and slipped inside the den. "Here's the moss, Appleleaf." she mewed quietly around the clump in her jaws. "I don't know if there's dock around here..."

Cedarpaw paced along the edge of their temporary home. He was itching to do something, but everyone seemed to busy to be interrupted. With a soft sigh, the young apprentice turned and padded off. He could hunt, at the least. That would be something. He padded quietly on, listening to the breeze and the distant calling of birds. The near-silence made him recall some of the more depressing memories, and he grumbled to himself, unwilling to dwell on them. Cedarpaw remembered he was hunting, and sniffed at the ground. A few trails of rabbits and a mouse filled his nose, and even the scent of an unfamiliar cat, but nothing really that fresh. Cedarpaw wondered for a moment who the cat could be, and his curiosity drew him to track the scent.
