Echo came up to Sontag as they walked. "By the way, there was an incident with Jay..."

Shard:

Shard smiled down at Cole. He lifted his tail a tiny bit to give Cole more of a challenge.

Sontag glared at Echo. "What happened?"

Cole growled and pulled Shard's tail down.

Echo:

"Apparently he crossed over into LightningPack territory. I confined him to camp. You can punish him as you see fit."

Shard:

Shard grinned and lifted his tail again. The pup couldn't even see, but he could attack Shard's tail. Shard felt pride swelling up in him. This pup wasn't his, but he would care for Cole as if he was his own.

Cole strained to open his eyes for a moment, in that moment he looked as if he was glaring at Shard's tail. He growled and pulled it back down.

Sontag nodded. "That's enough punishment."

"Did you see that? I think he was trying to open his eyes!" Shard says excitedly to Nikie.

Echo:

"I thought so, but I didn't know what you would think. Especially after the Gathering last night..."

Sontag growled. "Don't bring up the Gathering!" He hated losing an argument to Nikie. In his eyes she didn't deserve to be Alpha, she didn't even deserve to be in a pack.

Nikie smiled. "He'll be trying to for the rest of the day." She replied. Cole growled and batted Shard's tail.

Echo:

Echo backs away. "Sorry."

Shard:

Shard smiled and looked down at Cole, then back up at Nikie.

"You'd best be." Sontag replied bitterly.

Nikie smiled at Shale. Cole laid on top of Shard's tail and started to sleep.

Shard looks down at the pup. "He's so cute..." He says quietly.

Echo falls behind Sontag in show of submission. Her Alpha's temper could flare up, and she didn't want to be the one he directed his anger at.
