Tortoisestep spun on his hind legs at his leaders call, wincing as pain shot through his bad foot. "Stay away from her." he hissed at the fox. He ran to catch up to Pebblestar but the fox was already pouncing. "get off her!" he yowled launching himself on it's back, just long enough for her to wriggle out.

The Airclan leader hissed at the fox and scraped it's red muzzle with viciously sharp claws, then dove under the fox's heavy paws. But the fox was too fast, kicking her over with one strike, the fox pinned her down with a heavy paw, she flailed as she tried to escape, but he was to heavy. Hissing, then running out of breath as the fox pinned her down harder, she winced and said, "Help!"

Tortoisestep was flung off the back of the fox and laid on the ground stunned for a moment. When he finally got his bearings he heard Pebblestar calling for help. He reacted quickly and bit the foxes tail. The fox spun around suddenly, taking it's paw off of Pebblestar. Tortoisestep waited for just the right moment then dove under the fox and pulled Pebblestar into the brambles at the edge of the river. She was still regaining consciousness and hopefully he could buy enough time with the fox until she was strong enough to fight again.

Stripetail padded through the trees and he hoped Tortiosestep would admit his feelings and Pebblestar would have feelings for him too. Maybe they were admittjg their undying love abd were sittig next to eachother purring.

Flowerpaw bounded up to Stripetail, smile on her face, "So are you really going to help me with my stalking?" She said as she bounced happily around him, "I don't stalk well because my fur always gives me away," She stopped and sat down, looking down,"I wish Graypaw would look at me like Tortoisestep looks at Pebblestar," She droped her gaze and shuffled her paws, then let back up and put a smile on her face, "Whatever, how 'bout those moves?"

Coughing a bit, she shook her fur and leapt up again, fire in her eyes. The fox still snarled outside the brush, but Tortoisestep stood beside her,"Thanks, Tortoisestep, it..it says a lot," And with that she leapt out of the bush and onto the fox's face, managing to claw the creature's eye.

Tortoisestep didn't have time to respond before Pebblestar had leaped out of the brambles and clawed the foxes eye. The fox started looking scared and Tortoisestep knew that they were about to win. He sprang and clawed the muzzle of the fox, sending it running back to the territory behind their clan. Good, that meant it wouldn't be running into another clan's territory. He slumped to the ground, to tired to chase it. His paw was throbbing and his muzzle was bleeding. He couldn't see Pebblestar from where he was laying so he struggled up and called, "Pebblestar! Are you OK?"

Stripetail let out a purr,"Sure I'll help you. How about you go behind that bush and show me how you'd stalk around it."

((Hey you two. I was wondering something, as it seems we are the only three people doing close to ANYTHING on this Rp I have a question. Would you like me (or one of you could do it for all I care) to restart this rp completely? We could get new people and if Tinkpetz ever came back she could have all her characters and even still be named owner of it. The idea of the rp would clearly be stated as hers on the front page but I think we can keep this rp alive if we give it a new owner and start fresh! So what do you say? ))
