Sunkit tilted her head, her expression still questioning but quickly brushed it off. "Okay! Come on, I think the moss ball is inside the nursery," The ginger kit trotted into the den, looking around.

"Your doing a great job." Rainstorm purred back. "I can't wait for the kits to be apprenticed. I know it's a long time away but I miss being a warrior. I want to hunt and fight and fall in love and all of that stuff. I only fell in love once before, but he's... he's with another cat." Rainstorm meowed, her ears flopping to the side of her head.

Maplestorm sighed. "I'm not hungry. But I guess." He meowed. His big amber eyes were filled with sadness and humiliation. He sat up.

Owlstar nodded in acknowledgement at the warrior before turning away from him and starting towards the camp's direction. Owlstar kept his ears pricked, hoping the rogue Hawk and his partner wouldn't ambush them. Hawk seems like a very cunning and smart cat... He thought, not noticing his ears were slightly pinned.

"It would be unwise to let Ashclaw roam free in the camp, he should be confined to the elders den for now." Shadeclaw said, flicking her ear. "He could still be working for Hawk."

Nightstorm nodded, walking over to the fresh kill pile and picking up one of the birds. "Why don't we sit outside the warriors den?" She mewed, her voice slightly muffled by feathers.

Maplestorm nodded, sitting just to the left of the entrance.

Nightstorm giggled "when I was younger I would always choke on feathers." She meowed, sitting down beside the ginger and white tom.

Maplestorm just sat, not knowing what to say to her. He just admired her fur. He had always liked it. It was fluffy and thick. White with gray-black patches. Her pale green eyes matched her coat.

Nightstorm nudged the bird over to Maplestorm. "I'm done eating" she mewed, starting to groom her fluffy tail.
