Larkpaw looked at Ashpaw and Pebblepaw.

"I got impatient." He replied simply, his tail-tip flicking. Stormfeather studied her again, his gray eyes staring straight into Yuccamask's. "You are a Clan cat so I assume you have a leader... May I speak to them?"

Yuccamask tilted her head slightly, her eyes still narrowed with suspicion. If only I could read your thoughts... She thought, Why do you have to act so cool!? You're in the middle of a Clan's camp for Star Clan's sake! She continued to study the long, jet black cat. Although he was laying down, she could still tell how tall he really was, due to his long limbs. The Black cat had narrow, scrawny features, making her wonder whether he had had a decent meal in the last moon. She was about to offer him prey, though stopped herself mid-word. "Scarletstar," She replied, informing him of their newly appointed leader's name, and nodded. "I'll take you to her." Without waiting for a response, or to see whether he was ready to depart, She traveled swiftly over to the base of the high-rock, where her leader continued to linger after the gathering. "Scarletstar," She called, padding closer to her, once she was two fox lengths away, she dipped her head respectfully and continued onward, lowering her voice. "Someone's here to see you." She informed her, her voice low and sturdy.

Flamekit bounced towards the apprentices' den, spotting Ashpaw and her sister. "Hey Ashkit! And Pebblek-" Suddenly he stopped, and his eyes grew wide as if he had seen a warrior of Star Clan. "Oh, I'm sorry!" He apologized profusely. "I didn't mean to!" He continued, his mew small. "I forgot! It's just... so weird now!"

Larkpaw looked down at the kit. She was 11 moons and big as a warrior.

Whitekit and Goldenkit stumbled after Flamekit. "Dudddddde! Their appretinces now!" Whitekit meowed.

Scarletstar looked at Yuccamask, then at the tom. She narrowed her eyes, scanning over the limp cat. She flicked her tail, dismissing Yuccamask. "What do you want?" She asked, her tone a sharper then ever. She was a leader now. She has to be strict.

Flamekit starred over at another apprentice, Larkpaw, who watched him from a distance. A shiver went down his spine, as he wasn't sure whether Larkpaw wished to friendly, or was eyeing him up like a piece of fresh-kill. Once his siblings joined them, he began to relax slightly, "I know that silly furball!" He mewed playfully, cuffing his brother over the ears with a sheathed paw.

Yuccamask dipped her head respectfully once more, than backed away from her leader, only briefly glancing at the new arrival, before padding over to Cricketleap.

Brighteyes watched as Yuccamask lead the young tom over to her new leader, and padded over to her with great haste, sitting by her side once she had reached them.

Rootclaw picked his way through the separating crowed to find Spottedkit, glaring at her adopted brother. The kit really needed help, he was sure of that... But was he the right cat to do it? Maybe she needs to speak with Scarletstar? He thought, though, wasn't convinced whether the leaders tough personality would be able to steer her in the right direction. What about the elders..? Or, maybe even Zinniastem? With a small sigh, he padded over to the tiny kits, standing in between the his kin, whether they were adopted or not. "Morning Cinderkit," He purred in greeting, smiling softly. His gaze then traveled over to Tigerkit, who sat watching the band of kits from a distance. With quick flick of his head, he motioned to the tom cat. "How about you go play with Tigerkit?" He told him softly, "I need to speak with Spottedkit for a bit. You can play with her later."

Cricketleap looked up at Yuccamask. "Mornin'." He purred in greeting.

Scarletstar looked over to see her deputy, Brighteyes' join them. She nodded a greeting.

Spottedkit watched as Rootclaw sent Cinderkit off. Her jaw dropped. "Hey!" She growled, "we where talking!" She protested.

Rootclaw smirked, and nudged her with one of his large paws. "Yeah, 'just talking'..." He mocked with a small purr, "I could hear you glaring at him from the other side of camp!" He pointed out playfully, hoping that she'd still know what he was getting at.

Brighteyes dipped her head in greeting, and wrapped her tail neatly around her front paws, and sat up tall, looking the tom over.

Yuccamask smiled in reply, though tried desperately to shake Stormfeather from her mind. Where did he come from? She thought curiously, starring at the ground as she walked, Why did he come? "Morning..." She mewed softly in reply, her mind absent. She took a seat next to the newly made warrior, though continued to stare at her paws with curiosity as she played with the dust.

"Think about the tom and where he came from?" Cricketleap asked. He could almost read minds. It was a gift from StarClan.

"I was only telling him about the warrior code and how kits arn't allowed to hunt!" Spottedkit protested.

Yuccamask shook her head quickly, as if to snap herself out of her day dreaming. "Yeah..." She sighed, lifting her head to look in his direction, "I'm just, so... curious..." She admitted, her voice as soft as a whisper. It was as if Cricketleap could read her mind, so she decided that she may as well speak it, and save him the trouble of searching. "It seems like we've traveled to the ends of the earth and back, but yet, the outside world seems so... foreign... Like, the journey was only a dream."

Rootclaw purred and nodded enthusiastically, kidding with her. "Uhaaaaa..." He replied, laying down.

Cricketleap nodded in a agreement. "Yeah."

Spottedkit rolled her ivy-green eyes on the top of her head. "Pshhh.."

"I just... can't help... wondering..." She finished, as if Cricketleap hadn't said anything. Her eyes began to really focus on the new comer, the was something different about him than there was about the others. Like Firefly, and River even. They hadn't been Clan born, though their presence seemed different. "Do you think he's from a Clan? Like ours?" She questioned Cricketleap quietly, crouching down.

Rootclaw smiled, and flicked her pelt with the tip of his tail. "You'll be the age of an apprentice soon." He mewed proudly, as if she were his own daughter. "You'll need to start behaving like one."
