Sprucekit snarls and bites the dogs tail, making him turn and bite his own tail. It yelps and snarls, whimpering at the pain in its tail. Sprucekit growls low and smacks the bottom jaw and aws his chin open, making blood drop from ti.

Larkkit sunk into the shadows and bit the dogs paw.

The dog howled and threw Mistystream off of him.

[-Bacon]

Mistystream hissed as she landed on the ground with a thump, and quickly got to her paws in time to doge as the dog went for her again. Sprucekit was doing well so far as he held off the dog, but there was only so much that a kit could do in a fight, and she watched as it clawed at him. "No!!" She yowled in anger and ran for the dog, fully aware that hers was still following her. She ran straight beneath Sprucekit's dog's paws, and spun around as she watched hers try to skid to a halt, too late. And bowled into the other one, and the rolled on the ground. It gave her enough time to bound over to Sprucekit and usher him back to Larkit, Nightkit and Mistykit. "Larkkit," She ordered, "I have seen you run before, be as fast as you can now. Get back to camp and warn Darkstar. Bring a patrol." She threw herself at the dogs again as they got to their paws. "NOW!"

"AWW!" Larkkit nodded and pelt back to the camp, screaming; "HELP! Down the gorge! DOGS!!"

Firepaw bristled, his coat fluffing out as he spotted one of the missing kits. He nudged his brother, and watched as Rootpaw bolted out of the clearing. He ran after him, then skidded to a halt at the entrance to talk to the kit. "It's too dangerous to go back," He told her, "You should stay here." Straight away he saw the defiance in her eyes. It was against the warrior code to let a kit out of camp, but he let out a sigh and rolled his eyes. "Lead us there." He ordered, bolting out.

Mistystream made sure to keep the kits behind her as the three dogs charged at them. Continuously she threw herself between the dogs and them, not caring about her own health any more. The dogs were bleeding, but she was worse off. Taking on three dogs on your own, wasn't exactly a treat. Though she didn't let this ruin her spirit, and spat blood from her mouth as it trickled out.

"Its just down the gorge hill, the firest one next to Shadow Woods." Larkkit meowed, remembering the path.

Dakrstar flicks his tail to Firestorm and any warrior that was around. He dashes from camp and nods to Larkkit, leaping over the gorge. He snarls at a dog and slashes its nose, clawing its legs. He growls and leaps at its back, grabbing into its spine. It yelps and spins, grabbing his throat. He yelps, his eyes going wide.

Stormpaw noticed something. Maybe fighting off the dogs can make hima warrior! He jolted up and dashed past Darkstar and leapt on a dog, bitting it neck.

Darkstar's paws flail, but fail in an attempt to claw the dog. He chokes and blood gushes from his wound and spits scarlet liquid on the dog. He snarls feebly and sinks his claws into the dog, feeling flesh tear under his white claws. The dog yelps and drops him, then dashes off. Darkstar struggles to breathe, the wound in his neck deep.

Mistystream was happy to have some help, and as she spotted Larkkit again, she made eye contact with the kit, and her expression turned pained, and solemn. "Thank you." She mouthed. Before leaping at the dog that had trapped Darkstar. "Let him go!!" She hissed, sinking her teeth into it's neck. The dog yelped and dropped her leader, then spun on her, flicking her off of his back. She hit a tree, and fell to the ground. Motionless.
Her body had given up, taking as many blows as it could, and slowly, she closed her eyes.

Firepaw and Rootpaw stood together on either side of the kits, lining them up. "We fight us one!" Firepaw order them, starring down an approaching dog. As it growled and ran at them, he yelled. "Now!!" Rootpaw threw himself forward, so did Firepaw, matching the pace of the kits.
