Rain purred in amusement, and stated to her apprentice. "And don't forget to throw out any old herbs."

"Yes ma'am!" Fox beamed brightly, rummaging through the herbs gently. It was easy to pick out the old herbs, as they certainly didn't smell as nice. He placed them all neatly in a pile before tossing them out. Returning with a smile, he rearranged things neatly.

Flower aimed to lightly shoulder him playfully, hoping to ease the shy wall that stood between the two. "Stupid? Are you kidding? It's amazing! I bet next time you will get all the way to the very top. I hear you can see for miles out across the ocean from up there." her amber eyes lingered for a moment on the mast billowing in the breeze. The wood beneath her paws was worn from the many moons of walking it had endured from the tribe's ancestors. A flicker of a memory -- her mother's smile -- warned her heart for a moment before quickly fading. "What was it like up there?"

Tide sits up straighter, smiling. "Windy, really Windy. Honestly I'm surprised how much wind we are protected from down here, it's really strong when the wind isn't broken." Tide flicks his tail, wondering how fast the Black Pearl went when it was in water. "The mast was swaying slightly, which didn't help my footing, which is why I came back down actually, I slipped" Tide chuckles, trying to hide his embarrassment.

Her amber gaze widened into two moons as Tide described his climb of the crow's nest. She often noticed the slight sway of the mast, but she never realized how powerful it would feel to someone up there. The ship that the tribe lived in was wrecked on the top of a gaping cliff that jutted out over the ocean. The cliff protected the tribe from violent waves and most storms from that direction. "On a really hot day, I bet it would feel great up there. I love the feel of wind on my fur!" she commented in wonder at the possibility. "I doubt I would be able to ever make it up there. I'm not really good at climbing." Nor swimming, or hunting, or fighting . . . she was quite the underachiever. She was completely loyal to her tribe, yet was not as talented as her fellow apprentices; furthermore, she chose to be that way. "Maybe you will be captain one day and scale it every time there is a meeting!"

Tide nods in agreement about climbing it on a hot day. "I bet you're a better climber than me though." He smiles a little, looking over to her. "I highly doubt I'll become captain, let alone Luittenant. Imagine me leading the Tribe, I'd end up sending half of the sailors into a storm!" He teases, even though he's talking about himself.
