As the brown and white tom walked around of thinking what to do. Then he noticed the lake would be a perfect place to relax.

Darksky grabbed some cobwebs and juniper berries and dashes out of camp, racing past his apprentice. Coming to a spot where loners were standing over his leader he dropped his bundle of herbs. "Get back! I need to work!" He said pushing past. "Hang on Silverstar." He said


Crowfeather came back up. Looking at the dark sky, he got out of the water where he was met by cold air. "Lets go back. It's dark and the fox patrol should be back. Maybe we will hear good news." He mewed.

Daisytail nods. "Yes, the water snakes will be coming out soon." She says before walking out of the water and shaking her fur. She begins walking back to camp alongside Crowfeather and Briarwing with the apprentices following.

Petalpaw sits next to Silverstar on the opposite side of Darksky. "Here Darksky!" She says setting down the bundle of herbs. "I can handle the less serious wounds!" She says before picking up some horsetail and chewing it into a poultice and applying it to a bite on Silverstars back leg and a scratch of her face.

Pebblepaw follows her mentor out of the water, walking alongside Fallenpaw and Firepaw. "I'm not afraid of snakes! Snakes are afraid of me!" She meows and giggles.

Skylar jumped out of the way of the medicine cat. She would stick around a bit longer incase she could be of more help but she knew this was not her place. Through the heat of the moment she had nearly forgotten that this was clan territory and she was standing in the middle of it beside their injured leader. That really wouldn't look well.

Firepaw~

Firepaw splashed back pebblepaw and then followed the rest out of the water "Those snakes may be afraid of you, but they will still bite...and it hurts! Have y'all ever been big by one?!" She asked the warriors and other apprentices.

Crowfeather flicked his tail. "No. and I don't want to."

Darksky wasn't mad but he was stressed. Taking off as much as the poultice he could, he began to clean the wound. Making sure there was no dirt or anything in the wound, he looked at his apprentice, "Chew some of this horsetail and marigold into a poultice." He ordered. Now that the bleeding was slow he would teach his apprentice to address the wound that was serious.

Silverstars eyes slowly open. Not realizing that the medicine cats where taking care of her wounds, she attemptS to frantically get up. Pain shoots through her back and she screeches before stumbling back to the ground, her vision still blurred. "Wh...wha ...what happened? Is Hollowstorm ok?" She stutters as she moves so Darksky and Petalpaw could work.

Daisytail nods. "I've seen many snakes but I've never been bit" Daisytail purrs as they enter camp. She sets the fish down on the fresh kill pile. "I thought the fox patrol would be back by now. I wonder where they are." She meows.

Petalpaw nods and chews the herbs into a poultice, but before she could put it on the wound, Silverstar jumped up unaware of the medicine cats, before she stumbled back to the ground. She carefully puts the poultice on the wound. She hears the leaders question and looks at Hollowstorms motionless body. She looks at Darksky, not wanting to be the one to break the news to her leader.

Pebblepaw walks into camp and sits down next to Fallenpaw and Firepaw. "We are going to be the best warriors ever!" She meows excitedly.

Firepaw sat next to peblepaw and fallenpaw. "I can't wait 'till we go on trips like the others!" She said happily. She stood up and moved away from them for a second before she shook her silver pelt, and walked back to the two.

Darksky looked at his paws before dipping his head to Petalpaw. "Silverstar, I'm sorry.." he paused. "Hollowstorm is in starclan now." He said calmly. He rested his tail on his leader. He picked up his cobwebs and placed them over the poultice so it wouldn't fall out. "Why don't we get back to camp." He said. "Petalpaw, please guide Silverstar to her den. Don't answer any questions for now. Cats will want to know what has happened." He walked over to Hollowstorm.
