Cinder gets to her paws, getting ready to face he much older tom. She knew she didn't stand much of a chance against these two cats but it was worth a shot. She would either die or be taken back to camp as prisoner. The shecat quickly sizes the two toms up, noticing both were much larger than herself. Maybe she would have a speed and size advantage?

She followed close behind Lichenstorm as he went to talk to Flamepaw, wanting to know what happened while they had been out fishing.

Flamepaw
He looked up with a slightly startled expression, but when he saw who it was, he gave the new deputy and Skysong a respectful dip of his head before replying to the question that Lichenstorm had given him. "Crowstar named you the new deputy of the clan and gave us some disturbing news. The Twolegs are attacking again. He says that we will probably have to go looking for a new place soon since they have destroyed most of the forest. He doesnt want to go to a new camp just yet because of the kits that might not make the journey across the mountains. But once the river is gone, we have no way of surviving here."

He stood up and growled, taking his leader's hostility towards the rogue as a permission to attack.

Leopardpaw
Eventually, she reached the branch where the scent was the strongest. After hauling herself up onto it, she immediately crouched down and went still, spotting the creature.The leaves of the tree covered her spotted form, so the apprentice wasnt visible to her prey. It was close to the tip of the branch, eating a nut of some sort. Leopardpaw slowly and cautiously moved forward, her tail stretched out behind her to help her keep balance. Finally she was close enough and she leaped, landing on the squirrel and breaking its neck.

Cinder crouches in a defensive position, getting ready to hopefully confuse these larger cats with her speed. Her tail lashes, her muscles tense, full of adrenaline. She locks her amber gaze on the tom, waiting for him to attack first.

Not picking up any fresh scent from her, the tom quietly follows her trail towards the squirrel she'd been stocking. When he comes to the tree, her trail ends and the tom lifts his head to look into the tree. It was best not to surprise her if she was up there, she might lose her balance and fall; Starclan forbid. Sitting down, he waits for movement in the branches.

Letting the news soak in, it wasn't a terrible shock since he'd seen twolegs around the forest before. The move was a new idea, perhaps things were being changed upstream he hadn't noticed before. "Alright, thank you for telling me. I'm sure we'll come to a conclusion before the river dries up, it seems fairly strong for the time being." The fish were thriving alright, but it'd be difficult to feed the clan come leaf-bare if there was no river.

CLOUDCHASER:(has been taking a walk in the woods when she hears the rogue and her two clan mates. Following her ears she finds the three but is crouched behind a bush to not be spotted. Swiftly, she sneaks behind the rogue a few fox lengths behind ready to pounce on the cat)

Cinder leaps over the tom, turns midair and rake she claws down his spine before tugging at his tail roughly. She leaps back for space and crouches again, waiting for him to charge again.

Crowstar feeled the claws digging down his spine and hissed once again, Turning to the she cat and attacked again,Trying to do a front paw blow

Leopardpaw
She picked up her kill proudly, but suddenly a loud snapping sound echoes in her ears. In her effort to get to the squirrel, she had not noticed that she had gotten to the very end of the branch, which obviously couldnt hold her weight. The branch gave way and she fell, her yelp muffled by the squirrel that was tightly clamped in her jaws. She reached out with her claws, trying to grab onto something to slow her fall. The branches scraped at her until finally her claws dug into solid wood just above the ground. Her heart racing and her eyes wide she slowly descended the last couple of metres, landing on the ground on all four paws.

Flamepaw
Flamepaw nodded, "Glad I could help. Let me know if I can be of any use in solving this problem." He told the deputy, flicking his ginger tail. He was concerned for the clan and if there was anything he could do, he would do it.

Sunsplash
He held back, not wanting to interfere in the fight unless his leader needed any help.

Skysong
She was struck by the news, but tried not to show it. She had known about this threat, but didnt have a clue that it was this serious.
