The white and gray patched male gave a chuckle at Creamkit. "You know, you kind of remind me of when I was a kit. I just wonder where that happiness went...." Icetooth purred before trailing off as his small smile was replaced by a frown.

Jadeheart followed the apprentice to his nest. "You can talk to me you know." She said in a hushed voice.
(I think I will make an apprentice either later today or tomorrow)

"Sorry but.... I lost that ability a long time ago." He sighed remembering how he became emotionless like it was yesterday. He shook his head a bit before returning to a calm face and relaxed muscles. "At least you have a good life ahead of you."

"Really? What is there even to talk about? You probably don't even care about anything that's coming out of my mouth." Mousepaw snapped once again tensing up. He wanted to trust the she cat but.... He didn't know if he could at the same time.

"oh" she said,"Other cats call me smileykit because i smile a lot"she said and giggled

"That's nice. Well you should cherish your smile. Smiling is a beautiful thing and it makes other cats happy too." Icetooth purred but still keep a calm face.

she nodded,"i lost my mum to a badger fight,they raided our den..."she said and her smile turned into a frown

Jadeheart looked at the Tom with sympathy. "Why would you think I wouldn't care?" She asked.

"I never got to know my mom. Had to stay with my abusive father until my brother and I escaped into the clan. He was killed in the journey but I managed to live and make it to the clan." Icetooth explained to the kit a bit about his own life. He gave her a small comforting lick on the ear before he muttered, "At least you knew your mother. I don't even know my mom's name."

"Because you don't. Just because you're a medicine cat doesn't mean you have to by the law care for all. Besides no one gives one care about me anyways. Why should you be any different?" He snorted digging his face into the mossy bedding. She shouldn't be any different.... But then again she should. Just help me. Help me end this nightmare and make me feel loved!
