Felix's eyes flickered open as he heard voices nearby and it took him a second to realize other cats were coming extremely close. His eyes widened and his ears flattened as he quickly backed up and pressed himself against the forest floor, letting out a small whimper.

Firefly suddenly heard a noise and knew that the cat was here. "Come out." He mewed to the intruder.

Felix whined. "But I don't want you to eat me!" He remained in the bush.

Firefly exchanged a glance with the others, they all knew it was a young cat due to the high pitched mew. "We won't hurt you."

"How can I be sure though...?" Felix whimpered. He had hesitantly crept forwards a little.

Felix lowered his head and slipped out of the bush, looking at his paws.

Larkpaw also faltered, trying to think of another thing to say. "Uh, you're honest and sincere, and you're just over all outstanding!" He gave a smirk to try and cover up the falter.

Robinpebble grinned, his excitement was contagious. "That's true, just keep doing what you're doing and you'll be a warrior in a moon or less."

Thunderpaw grinned, he was clearly excited that he could be a warrior in a moon or less. "I always behave though Robbinpebble." He exclaimed.

Bumblebee shook his head. "Ivorypaw if you're ever going to be a warrior then you need to stop being so paranoid and worrying all the time, you will be fine and so will I."

Firefly was right, a young Tom with a collar round his neck emerged. "shouldn't you be with your twolegs?"

"I wander quite a bit, my twolegs let me out for most of the day to explore... Ive only just come over here. But I go back home every night to sleep." Felix mewed, examining the several cats in front of him. "I like exploring, and I'm good at it." He puffed out his chest. He was calm now and the normal playful sparkle in his eyes had returned.
