Ivyclaw nods,padding in the other direction.She scented the air,picking up a stale scent of cat,and a strong fresh scent of squirrel.She dropped into the hunters crouch,after she had spotted it scrabbling among the leves.She slunk forward quietly,preparing to pounce.A bird took off in the distance before she could pounce and the squirrel ran up a tree."Fox brained bird" she muttered.She padded away,scenting the air as she padded quietly.She scented a mouse,spotting the small body of the little prey.She dropped into the hunters crouch,stalking dorward on silent paws.She pounced,landing a killing blow to the spine of the creature.She dropped her prey near where they had started,scratching a few leaves over the prey.She scented the air for more.
