Goldendapple looked at Swallowtail, "Jadewing said that you like Berryfrost but she..." Her voice trailed off, looking at the surroundings, she continued, "I sure know that feeling."

"Well that isn't the only heart ahe I know. My father died when I was a kit. Whem my mother had kits with another tom, she died kitting and my step father went missing. All my siblings hate me and I've always felt alone." He meowed to her. "That's why Berryfrost can't be with me. I was so obsessed with keeping cats out, I didn't know I was hurting anyone." He sighed.

Goldendapple placed her tail on Swallowtail's shoulder as comfort. "I was born as an orphan. I don't know who am I belong to until I found Moonclan. I liked Firefeather but he rejected me and turned to Russetstar and now they liked each other and he completely forgot me."

He looked at her as she placed her tail on his back. "I don't see why someone would regect someone like you." He meowed. "You seem like a really good cat." He purred, comforting her.

Goldendapple purred at him, "you seemed a nice cat too." Smiling, she looked at where Russetstar and Firefeather left, "the past is in the past."

He was glad they weren't going near the lake . He didn't want to meet Goldendapple . At least we're not going near the lake . Phew .
