{Steam's setting up their tent~ ^^; It's somewhere near Iris' and Inferno's for some very specific reasons. xD}

Steam finished setting her side of tent up, the middle flap hanging loosely between the two separate areas. She still had no idea who 'Spring' was. Maybe if she wasn't new to the community, not as new as Pastry albeit but new enough, she would have known more of the JMDs at the camp. Oh well, it couldn't be helped she guessed. Tossing her bag onto the floor of the tent, SteamPunk opened it, revealing her tinkering supplies, her trusty scarf, and her tinkered-with sleeping bag complete with heating competent and built in mattress. Pastry would've said she was cheating her way out of true camping- It's still camping- I've just improved it in the ways I could... She answered her thought to herself, putting out a few of the supplies she would need for later.

Im so new its kinda frusterating. Thats why I decides to come, I need to be paired with someone i might come to like, or be best friends with. I look and find steam, I studied some more reent JMD's so I was able to find them sorta easy. I approached steam and tapped them on the back "excuse me, Im Spring Melon, I sort of paired with you, sorry for being late. You can call me Spring, or Melong if you'd like ^^" I introduced myself to Steam. Welp.. This is when I find out if anyone will like me I just gotta be myself

WHAT THE!... Oh.. hey..; Crush- Inferno; Single.

SteamPunk felt a tap on her shoulder as she finished placing the last of her clock based gadgets down near her mini-workbench. Immediately, she flinched, fur on her mane rising, and tail flicking uneasily as she sprang around. Gadgets went flying every which way as she did so, coming face to face with the trespasser. SteamPunk's blue eyes flashed briefly with surprise before she realized that the JMD who had entered her tent silently was most likely her new tent-mate.

"Eeiiii... I'm sorry about that... I'm a rather jumpy dragon..." SteamPunk mumbled without her usual tartness. Using her tail, she began to neaten up the area a bit more, "I'm SteamPunk- You can call me Steam if you'd like though. I'm going to guess you're Spring Melon- Better known as Spring, and or Melon, right?" Her head tilted, and the scarf around her neck shifted as well.

"yeppers! That'd be me." i paused for a moment. "so. How many JMD 'brthers' and 'sisters' do you hve? I have Pavo, Rhythm, and Raiyne-storme as sisters, and im their fellow sister. And I also have Sea-Song... Hes my brother ^^ i love him to bits... Of course, we alljustjave the same owner, we dont share blood or anything." I started to get nervous. This is the first JMD outside the famit I've spoken to..

"I do actually- and same as you, not by blood," SteamPunk paused talking for a moment while she grasped a few of the gears that she had strewn across the tent in her mouth to put away. A few of the gears made it into the gear box that was beautifully crafted out of mahogany wood with tiny black and gold gears lacing the sides of the worn box, but most of them were tucked into Steam's belt pouch for use later, "His name's Pastry- We met a few days ago... He enjoys baking, I enjoy tinkering... We're an odd small family group," SteamPunk blabbered before she caught herself, "So, if this side of my tent gets rather messy in the next few days, just tell me. I'll clean it up as soon as I get to it."

I wish I had the expiriance of a small family like Pavo, and Rhythm got to. And like steam did..
"thats cool... And dont worry about it." I could help letting a giggle escape. "I dont mind messes, I dont live eith the cleanest people in the world" I giggle again. "Rhythm would kill me, but she's a total slob" I put my small bag on my side of the tent and started to slowely take out some of my things. My most important posession being a family photo of us all. "so... Id you notice that this is supposed be couple pairing right? Yet... We're both female... Unless I got that wrong..." I mentioned hoping that i was correct.

SteamPunk's head went back with laughter, and there was a faint tinkling of gears as the clashed together on her belt, "I know. I think it's because there's more females than males. And I think that's why we have a split room tent, so we can invite others over. " Steam took a minute to process that last thing Melon said, "Eh.. It's half and half... For example, Pastry is paired with Akuna, and Inferno is paired with Iris. I've already mentioned it to Iris about everything and my slight jealously complex...."She caught herself before she went completely off-topic, "But I've seen a few other female-female pairings... And I am certainly not male!" Steam threw the last part in with a chuckle.

I could help but laugh. "I guess that makes lots of sense" I laughed a bit, "I just don't think of the obvious much" I couldn't help but ask, "so... Im new, and your sorta new... Do you maybe wanna be friends? I kinda like you..." I said hoping it wasnt too straight forward. I liked steam. She seemed like nice company so far

SteamPunk shrugged, like it was just nothing, like she had been expecting Spring to say something like that. But she hadn't been expecting it, nor was it nothing to her. Completely new to the JMD world, she had yet to meet quiet a few JMDs, and here she was, new to pretty much everything, and making a friend right off the bat. If Steam could, she'd squeal like a yearling pig, but instead, she maintained her steady atmosphere, "Of course I would! We're sharing a tent, right?" Steam chuckled again, and the gears clinked together, "So, what made you come to camp?" Steam asked, always the one to interrogate someone.

|| Cleo's partner still isnt on yet and I don't think they will be in anytime soon. I can't do anything untill they post and I've PMd thedogandcat already. I'm really stuck and don't know what to do.. ||
