"Sorry. I couldn't just leave you... " SteamPunk replied, grabbing a few of the packs off of Fervent's back. She slipped them onto her own back, and continued walking away from the Cornucopia. In the darkness, she hoped that Fervent couldn't see her shake her head in her own disappointment in herself. She was going to get them killed if she wasn't careful; she should have found that camp and waited for her partner's return. But no, instead her pride and loyalty had taken over, and she had chased after him like he couldn't take care of himself. SteamPunk hissed under breath, "Why am I so... just.. taggy..."

He sprinted into the woods and looked around, he could smell the fire somewhere, he didn't have time to pinpoint where it was coming from. "This way!" he said as he ran towards the cliff.

{{ Mystique followed Flame as quickly as she could
managed on her somewhat shorter legs, having to mind her
feet carefully as she did so to where she could not fall, or
trip, or do anything to shorten her own life span in the games.
She stopped for just a short moment to catch her breath as
they emerged into the woods. Her nose crinkled softly at the
smell of smoke as it burnt her nose, even though it was a bit
of a ways off. She started following Flame once again as he
sprinted off into another direction, looking around slightly
since she was a little behind him. "Maybe we should slow down
a bit, try and be a little quieter so that we don't give ourselves
away." She suggested, her voice cracking as she herself
cracked a large stick underneath her foot.

{{So NOW we all agree that people need to start letting go? e-e" wever for now on they die if they die– however if you kill a JMD while its owner is not on they'll have the option to revive them as a 'sponsor' like in Pokémon that revive jewel, or they can request no attacks in the first place so no ones screaming and shouting that they weren't here to protect them. all deaths must have the chance of defense so you cant just be like "[JMDname] blahblahblah slit their neck and they died" the owner must confirm death. people multiple JMDs shoudn't have to give up their JMDs first it takes the stakes out of it. Now it's fair for everyone. Boom Done
