Shaleshard stepped over to Dawncatcher. She felt bad; it hurt to lose kin. And hadn't Swiftheart and Goldensong died a few moons ago? And Stargaze and Wolfpath had vanished. "Let me help you." The elder offered, understanding Dawncatcher's grief. "Venomstar saved my kits... back when they were alive." She swallowed, her poor heart snapping. "Please, let me bury her with you. It's the least I can do to thank her."

Sharkpaw stepped up "i will help" he mewed and helped him wit his mentors body, his head was low and he sighed sadly

Dawncatcher looked at the old she-cat then nodded. "That would be great." he mewed giving her a small smile as he led her towards the graveyard. He let out a loud sigh as he thought about his family... he didn't have any left other than his mate and kits. "Mom... dad... Star... Wolf." he mewed mainly to himself.

"I lost all of my kin," Shaleshard whispered. "Well, close kin at that. I still have my grandkits... but I know how you feel." She gave Dawncatcher a loving (motherly love, not mate love! xD ) nuzzle.

Sharkpaw didnt say a word, he just sat there gazeing at the graze that his first mentor was put in, she had his head low as he thought of the good times they had

Vipertail shook her muzzle dry as she stared into the pen mouth of the tunnel leading to the Mooncavern. She roused herself tiredly and moved foreward.

Dawncatcher smiled. "Thanks... not many cats know how it feels... not this young anyway." he gave a curt laugh then stopped at a good spot to dig. "K Sharkpaw could you start digging please?" he asked

Sharkpaw sniffled back tears and nodded "yes sir...." he began digging a hole for his mentor

Dawncatcher gently set Venomstar down and helped the apprentice dig.
