Shadow That Dances at Night
Shadow relaxed when the borage seemed to help Little and the kits, but he was too proud to appear apologetic in any manner. He did feel a bit smug about Fox's reaction. Shadow listened to the interaction between Fox and Little, piping in at the end,"Staying here for the night would be pleasant, in case anything happens." He would have to check up on the goings-on in the tribe as soon as morning came, but for now, he decided to take a break. He was a father now. "I will stay with you." he continued, a crackling purr emerging from him. Shadow watched the kits with pride in his stance, though he was rooting for the little tom to overtake his sisters in the play fighting. He needed to be strong. He was, surely, going to be the next leader in his place. Shadow stuck close by Little when she went to sleep, watching the kits as if he was on guard. He did not trust any of the tribe members to not try and attack her. When Rain told him to leave, he rose to his paws defensively. "What's going on?" he snarled, allowing himself to be pushed out despite his confusion and anger. The tom turned to Eagle, glad one of his respected members were concerned for one of their own. "Thank you for helping." he stated, huffing from being escorted out. He could hear what was going on inside, and he was three seconds away from pushing his way in as well. He heard his name mentioned a few times, and he was wary to the way Fox and Rain were treating Little. Shadow, finally, heard Little say that she did not want to be touched, and that was the breaking point for him. He made his way into the room, neck fur on end and his menacing teeth bared. The first sight was of Eagle holding down his mate, and he immediately got suspicious. "What is going on in here for Swashbuckler's sake?" Seeing Fox huddled near the kits, Rain looking frustrated, Little frantic, and Eagle holding down Little was a mixture that made him furious.

Eye of the Eerie Tempest
Tempest was confused by Scatter's reaction to Raven's offer to join them. He had been under the presumption that Scatter enjoyed being alone, so why was she willing to join Raven's ragtag group of Outcasts? The tom remained silence for the time being, not wishing to intervene. When Raven addressed to him her next offer, he was further surprised. Tempest had been under the assumption she did not trust him. "I would love to help you, but some of the names cannot be cleared. Scatter, for instance, took the life of a friend of mine moons ago. What of you all? How do I know that you are all calm of mind?" it was a harsh reality, and he had no idea how Scatter would react. "For most of you I was not leader at the time of your exiling, but there is always a reason for being cast out." He did not consider if any of them had changed from their previous behavior, however, what if they changed back to their old ways as soon as someone upset them? Tempest dipped his head thankfully to Darkness, but he did not start eating right away.

Flower That Blooms in Shade
"Was Shadow the one that allowed you to join the tribe? He is one of the rogues among us." she commented nonchalantly to Reaper when he first began questioning the rogues present. Flower turned back towards Tide, frowning at the possibility of having to deal with snobby kits. If they turned out anything like Shadow, she could make no promises about shredding their ears if they threatened her. "Where does Shadow get the idea that this is okay? This is our tribe." she mumbled to herself, kneading the ground underneath her paws. Hearing Minnow's comment, a purr of amusement erupted from her. "We should be sailors before they become apprentices, do you think one of us might have to mentor them?" Now that would be awkward. She echoed Minnow's response to Reaper,"Shadow is the definition of evil. I once saw him staring at me, and I swear I thought he was going to attack me. I had just been standing there too."

Stream Where Small Fish Swim
"Well, it was good meeting you." she stated lastly, a bit wary over how quickly she had shut down the conversation. Was there something to hide that she was not telling? "Have a wonderful evening." Stream started to pad away, suddenly feeling uneasy. Things just seemed off to her.
