Thistle stumbled blindly into the fox den, the rain no longer pelted down on his fur. He flopped down, his coat drenched, the scent of fox filled his nostrils, but there was some thing else there. Another cat? Thistle looked around, it was too dark to see anything.

Melodyshadow raised her head, banging it on the roof of the fox den. "Mousedung!" She yowled, straightening herself. "Who are you?!" She growled, leaping at the tom, rolling him over so they were out of the den and pinning him to the forest floor. Her teeth bared and her claws sunk into his shoulders as she pinned him, as lightning struck in the distance, her Orange eyes showed anger. Her sharp teeth stuck out as if she were ready to attack and her tail was lashing over her back, and her ears were flattened.

Thistle's heart leapt out of his chest as something tackled him, he looked up to see Melodypaw, pinning him. Lightning cracked above her head, he shrunk back. "My name' sis Thistle." She announced, his voice small. "I'm no threat to you." He added eyeing her claws.

Smokepaw went to the apprentice den "Soon I won't be here" He said to himself lying down,
