The jumpy male apprentice was just standing at the apprentices den, gaze looking out. Rabbitpaw was snapped out of it and decided to just roam around camp for a bit before he would take a walk or so. While he was padding into the camps clearing, the apprentice felt someone bump into him. It Bing unexpected, Rabbitpaw flinched before backing up only to see it was the new cat Echo. "Yes! That's my name and you're Echo right? No need to apologize."

Flamepaw turned to see Frostpaw by his side, her flanks heaving as she gasped for air. He smiled softly, his gaze full of pain as he stared at the beautiful she-cat. "Hi. What's up?" He meowed in a flat tone. He started to walk away from the fresh-kill pile, not really caring if Frostpaw followed or not. Go back to Ravenpaw! His mind flooded with images of Ravenpaw and Frostpaw. You'd be better with him anyway..

Echo tilted his head confusingly at the tom. He hadn't met the apprentice in person before, so Echo was surprised that he knew his name. "Yeah. How'd you know?" Echo smiled as he waited for a response from the male. The only other cat that knew anything about him was Ravenpaw. Ravenpaw.. Echo's gaze softened as he thought about the tom-cat. He had always liked him, but he knew his heart belonged elsewhere. Snapping out of his thoughts, his eyes fixated back on the apprentice in front of him.

Frostpaw

"I.. Need... To .. Tell you.. Something," she gasped between breaths. Too much running. There's always so much running. Her frosty blue eyes met his with mixed fear and confidence. "Could we speak in private?" She asked nervously.

Flamepaw blushed as Frostpaw gazed into his eyes, but he shook his head and coughed to himself. "Um. S-Sure?" He meowed in a confused tone. He was hopeful for a moment, thinking that maybe she would tell him that she liked him, but Flamepaw knew what had happened with her and Ravenpaw earlier. "B-But.. first can you tell me what happened with you and Ravenpaw?" He blurted out, covering his mouth with his tail after he had said it. "I m-mean.. He trailed off, his gaze fixated on the trees behind Frostpaw. Oh Flamepaw.. stop embarrassing yourself!

Frostpaw

Her gaze was heavy as she looked on him. Ravenpaw? How did he even know they were talking?
"W-we were only talking..." She tilted her head. "Were you spying on us, Flamepaw?"

Flamepaw's pelt burned with anger as she accused him of spying. "No! I just saw you two sitting really closely.. when I left the camp." He murmured in a low voice, his eyes narrowed and his ears perked. "He's really nice." He added in a softer tone, his eyes full of pain as he thought about Ravenpaw taking Frostpaw from him.

Redpaw

"Tigerpaw," Redpaw began, her voice low, "If you need anything, or need to talk about anything, I won't press you but I'm here. We're friends, right?" She wanted to help any way she could, but understood if Tigerpaw couldn't open up yet. Once they reached camp, she spoke again, "Take them to Wildstar first?" She suggested.

Dusknose

"I'm sure they'd love to get to know you," Dusknose assured, "You're nicer and nicer looking than you give yourself credit for. Your eyes are only scary when cats don't look past it. Once I started talking to you, your eyes didn't look scary anymore. They looked beautiful, and kind, just like you."

Frostpaw

Her heart fluttered. "Yeah," she murmured. "He is a really nice cat, but that's not why I want to talk to you." Her eyes glistened with the setting of the sun, and she turned toward him. "Flamepaw, I- I-"
Come on! You're not going to shy out now!
"I- Whenever I'm around you, my face gets hot and I feel like there's butterflies in my stomach, and- and-..." She paused before she taking a breath and continuing, "I think- I think I'm in love with you."

Flamepaw's mouth flew open and his eyes widened as he realized why Frostpaw had been acting so weird. He shook his head and let out a mrrrow of laughter. "Oh, Frostpaw. Can't you tell that I've loved you since the first day I laid eyes on you?" He couldn't help but let out a purr of satisfaction. And to think I thought she liked Ravenpaw! Flamepaw's whiskers twitched in amusement as he gazed upon the she-cat he was infatuated with. "I haven't stopped thinking about you, and I was scared that everything we did meant nothing to you." He opened up to her in a soft tone, his eyes moving down to his paws as his fur felt hot with embarrassment. "I was scared.. that you only wanted to be friends, and Ravenpaw would be better for you." He looked back up to see her soft fur glistening in the sun-light, and her soft eyes gazing into his. He couldn't help but walk over to her and nuzzle her gently. "I never wanna lose you, Frostpaw." He whispered softly, nervously waiting for her response.
