Wings of Fire: The Darkest Hour (Not Accepting)

"no NO SHES THERE I KNOW IT she'll make it your wrong!!!!" he sobbed pressing closer to the dragon he had loved even though it was only for a few short days "come back please" he whimpers his tears falling on her "I don't want to do this alone again... You ... You understood me ... Please don't go" he whispered his head shaking with sadness "I don't want to live without you" he sobbed clutching her lifeless talons in agony

Pharaoh-
It was around this time that Sapphire's last words came back to him. The last words she would ever speak. Pharaoh you idiot... After the war, you'll have a mate to go home to. And I think you know that, too. You can't die. Not like me. I'm replaceable. Unlike you. Good luck, Pharaoh. No... You'll have a mate to go home to. She couldn't POSSIBLY mean Snowstorm, could she? But as Everest declared his love to the dead dragon, he knew it was true. Who else could it be?

Ember squeaked, hearing the roars and shouts behind him. He felt something missing, like something was..Gone. He saw his brother, it couldn't be him.. so who was it?

Sapphire's ghost hovered nearby. she was crying, too, but they couldn't hear her. She want to hug them, but she was gone. She listened to Everest, a small smile appearing on her face. She 'walked' over to Pharoh, simply saying " It's not your fault." She evaporated into nothingness, leaving nothing disturbed.

(MY HEART HURTS, AGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH)

Pharaoh-
Pharaoh hesitated... There was something else he had to know... He NEEDED to know. "Everest..." he began. "... What about Snowstorm? Isn't THAT the dragon you love?" The minute the words came out, he wanted to cram them back into his jaws and swallow them. Make them never exist. It was a terrible question to ask... Especially next to the body of Sapphire, who had been LIVING just a few long minutes ago. It felt like a lifetime ago...

Everest prest closer not wanting to believe the stone hard evidence "I ... I'll kill who did this ... Your fine please come back...I can't lose you!!!!" He yelled into the sky in dismay hoping her spirit would hear him " there was a huge lump in his throat as he looked at the dead body. He whimpers and began to shakily sing. "Sapphire my love the signs come from doves . My heart fells like it stoped . I don't know how to stop these tear drops . I don't want to cry but now I wish you good bye" his song was cut off from his sobs "please pharaoh do something!" He yelled
Then he heard his question "YOU THINK NOW IS THE BEST TIME !!! She is dead and you could have helped her what if I let snowstorm die what would you do!" He hissed the sobs filled his voice





(Wouldn't it be cool that in his agony he enchanted something to speak with the dead? So he could still talk with her spiri?)

Pharaoh-
Pharaoh was taken aback. Was that a no? He suddenly felt rage bubble inside of him, and he hated being so damn selfish, but he pushed this aside. "Everest, wake up! She's DEAD! THERE'S NOTHING ANYONE CAN DO NOW!" he shouted. "She died with honor! She died doing what was right! We need to get to the nightwing island as soon as possible! She's given us that chance! We can't WASTE IT!" Pharaoh raised his talons before he knew what he was doing, and smacked Everest across the snout, hoping to knock some sense into the poor skywing.

Everest wimpers as the sand wing hit him he cowered beside the dead body as if it would give him protection like a lost dog. "But I can't just leave her ... I can't pharaoh if it were someone else would you leave them!" He yelled pure agony in his wavering voice.


(I'm definitely doing the thing were he enchants something so he can talk with spirits)

Snowstorm searched the sky endlessly, hearing Pharaoh's message. She held a talon to her earring, saying "Pharaoh the SandWing," just as she spotted a black dot squeeze into a small crack. "I have him in my sights. I'll be back there as soon as I can." Snowstorm then dove down silently, landing lightly on the outcrop as Pathfinder disappeared.

Bayou suddenly appeared beside Everest, a calm look on his face despite all the turmoil. He placed his talons on the SkyWing's shoulder. "Everest. She's gone," he said softly. "The best thing to do is to let her go."
