Nightfang lead Eaglestar towards the blood she had seen and soon stopped in front of a partially dried clump of crimson blood. "this is it" she told Eaglestar. "this is what i saw."

Eaglestar nodded, approaching the blood. "Let me know if you see or smell anything helpful." she told Nightfang, glancing over her shoulder. The leader examined the area carefully, searching for loose fur, blood spatters, crushed stalks of grass; any signs of a fight. As she went, she searched for any unusual scents besides the blood, which was indeed cat blood; Nightfang hadn't been mistaken about the blood of prey as Eaglestar had hoped.

The wind changed directions, and Lightpaw raised her head, scenting the air. She was curious as to who it was out here. Her fur bristled as she realized the scent was startlingly unfamilar; not a clan cat. Only yesterday she'd been exited to meet someone outside the clans, but after the attack on her friends she was wary. She wanted to run---but no. She couldn't. She was an apprentice, not a kit. She'd have to confront someone this close to the camp. It was in the warrior code, wasn't it? This wasn't really their territory, but they still needed to defend themselves. And if it was the cat that had hurt her friends, she wasn't letting them get away. The small apprentice stood tall, pushing through the grass.

{I think I'm still waiting for replies for these two. Pineclaw and Leah are open, but I'm not sure what to write for them at the moment.}

"I-I'm Loudpaw." he mewed, looking up. This tom really didn't mind his ugly scars? Loudpaw blinked his amber eyes, a bit confused. "What's your name?" His voice a bit dull, but he was glad to have someone to talk to. "You really aren't bothered by my scars?" he questioned further.

Name: Miststep
Age: 77 moons/Almost 6 & 1/2 years.

She is a small, slim silver tabby with light green-blue eyes. She lost half an ear and most of her tail in the fire.
Personality: Miststep is quiet. She rarely talks when she doesn't have to, preferring to listen. She can be nervous and shy. Before the fire, she'd begun to open up among her clanmates. The fire brought back a lot of the fear and nervousness she had when she was younger, as has her travels alone since then. She is an excellent hunter, with very good senses of smell and hearing, but somewhat weak in a fight. As her name suggests, she moves very quietly.
History:
Miststep was born in early new-leaf. Her mother's name was Smokefur, her father, Whitestar, was, at the time, the leader of FlameClan. She had one sibling; her brother, Nightclaw.
When Eaglestar--an unnamed rogue kit, at the time--was found, the family took her in.
Mistkit and Eaglekit were friends from the start, and grew up as sisters.
As apprentices, there was always a bit of a rivalry between Eaglepaw and Nightpaw, though Mistpaw, hating fights, often tried to make peace between them. Eventually, Eaglefeather, Nightclaw, and Miststep were made warriors together.
Several moons later, her father, Whitestar, was killed in battle with StoneClan. The three of them were devastated, and Miststep became very quiet, often refusing to speak to anyone but her family.
As time went on, Miststep recovered. Encouraged by her siblings, she began to open up, getting to know others in the clan.
Eventually, Eaglefeather was made deputy, then leader, appointing Nightclaw as her deputy. Miststep was happy for them, but happy with where she was. She often advised Eaglestar when she had to make difficult decisions.
Then, the fire came. Miststep had been out hunting at the time, and didn't hear about the fire until it was too late. She was caught off guard, and badly burned, loosing her tail and half an ear. Desperate, she dove into the river. She wasn't a very strong swimmer, and nearly drowned. She did survive, barely, but was swept downstream, past the clans' territories.
She was found by a kind loner, and nursed back to health. By the time she was well enough to travel, she found the forest burned, many cats dead, and the survivors already gone.

Since then, she's been tracking the clans. She managed to pick out Eaglestar's scent from the mix, but hasn't found any traces of Smokefur or Nightclaw, and suspects they died in the fire.
She's been alone long enough that she no longer smells like a FlameClan cat, and could easily be mistaken for a rogue or loner by those who don't know her.
