Moonglow swept his kit behind him. "Hollykit! Stay back!" He mewed frantically. He didn't know if she could be trusted to safely climb a tree... He leapt at the fox, grabbing onto its ear with his needle sharp teeth.

Spiritstar tackled the fox angrily, "Moonglow! Get Hollykit into a tree! Quick!" she yowled before taking care of the fox that Moonglow was fighting, she tried holding him down

Moonglow grabbed the kits scruff. He darted to a tall oak, and scaled it with ease. He dropped the kit on a low branch, then dropped down. He darted at the fox, nipping at its forelegs multiple times to distract it.

Spiritstar bit into it's neck hard, but it didn't seem to die. The fox shook her off, she fell to the ground as she felt a pain in her side. She looked up to see fire in the fox's eyes, she clawed at it's eye, blood dripping onto her face. She yowled loud, then grabbed it's muzzle with her claws, breaking away from it's grasp. She leaped onto the fox, sinking her fangs into the life vein of it's neck, the fox fell to the ground

Moonglow leapt back from its paws as the beast fell to the ground. "Stay!" He commanded Hollykit, running to his mate. "Spiritstar!" He yowled. "Are you alright?"

"Hollykit stay!" Spiritstar calmed down a bit once she was certain that it was dead, her side was bleeding heavily and her ear had a nick in the side. Blood poured from her head and her side, "Moonglow... Hollykit..." she mumbled, her eyes heavy, "yes, I''m fine! Just get Hollykit back... I am fine to walk," she assured Moonglow

(Hollykit ran from camp and found a fox, but Spiritstar killed it)
