Silentpaw's eyes glittered as she looked towards Koipaw. "Oh, of course--" she said, but was cut off as Fallenpaw went and pounced on her.

"Got you!" he said, his gaze triumphant as he pinned his sister down to the ground.

A small rumble in the back of his throat, the closest he got to a purr, began flood from his lips. "Don't let yourself get distracted." He instructed Silentpaw, the tip of his tail twitching in amusement, "No matter who it is that's drawing you attention."

Embarrassment flooded Silentpaw's gaze, as she purred slightly. "Hah, I'm used to it--" she said, and then noticed Fallenpaw looking idly in the direction of a robin. "Hah! Teach you to attack me." she purred, kicking Fallenpaw off with a heave.

The young tom continued to smirk, watching as Silentpaw pushed her brother off. "Well done!" He congratulated the she-cat, stretching in pleasure as his pelt engulfed the warmth of the rock. "It's a shame that there aren't always going to be robins around in a battle." He taunted playfully.

"Yes I know but I didn't know what was right and what was wrong!" Cricketpaw meowed. "Please come home!" He begged.

Firefly giggled. She splashed him back.

Scarletfeather shurgged. "Brighteyes, Lionpaw and Stormtooth." She meowed, flicking her tail.

Yuccapaw began to glare at the young tom, letting her anger run free. "No you're not!" She spat, "How dare you come here! How dare you follow us! And you thought that everything would be ok? That would follow you? You did this to us! You ruined our lives!" Slowly the flame began to ceases, and grief clouded her gaze. She was lost, she knew that, but she couldn't tell these cats. "How could you..." She whispered, hanging her head and slumping her shoulders.

Cardinal watched the she-cat, concerned. No longer did she look small, and scared, but as powerful as any warrior, the muscles from her journey showing through her pelt. He felt for the she-cat, he could only imagine what she was going through. Quickly, he touched the tip of his tail to Cricketpaw's shoulder for encouragement, and then drew back.

Fireleaf purred, cuffing her around the ears, and then splashing her with the other paw.

Rootclaw nodded, and then hurried off to get the others. Once he had, he returned to Scarletfeather with them on his heals. "We're ready." He announced.

"Die alone." Cricketpaw spat, turning around. "We followed useless, stupied, mouse-brained appretinces!" He snarled. "I wasted my appretince training for this." He added, "I thought I knew you, but I guess I don't."

Firefly purred, gently nibbling his paw.

Stormtooth hurried over. With a curt nod, the patrol set off.

The flame in her eyes returned. "You thought you knew me?!" She spat angrily, her hackles raising, "You knew nothing! Cricketpaw, all you saw were the other she-cats! You never saw me, so how could you know me!? I followed you everywhere! I thought I loved you! But obviously not! All I wanted was the best for you, and you sent me away!" Her ivy green eyes grew pale and cold, and her expression unnaturally calm. "Go." She instructed the tom, her eyes starring blankly past him, as if they were looking into something else. "You have no business here." And with that, she turned away, and ducked into the bushes behind her, not looking back. Her heart ached, her home had come to welcome her, a chance to return to Koipaw, her mentor, her friends, and she turned it away... What's wrong with me?! She thought angrily.

"Ouch!" He yelped playfully, drawing his paw back, "You'll pay for that!" He yowled, bowling her over.

Brighteyes wasn't sure whether she should leave the intruder alone or not, though, decided that the two other cats would be able to manage on their own. She bounded over to the patrol, and exchanged brief nods of acknowledgment with the other cats before setting off, keeping in step with her apprentice.

Cricketpaw turned around. "I never liked anyone else! It's was you who I liked!" He spat. "But you never asked my feelings!" He meiwed, watching her walk away. Yeah, go. Cricketpaw stormed off.

"Oh really?" Firefly purred, bowing playfully.

As they padded into the forest, Scarletfeather tried desperately to find his scent.

Cricketpaw's words stung like thorns, and no matter how hard she tried to shake them off, they just wouldn't leaver her mind. "Die alone...useless, stupid, mouse-brained apprentices...I wasted my apprentice training for this..." Tears threatened to roll down her cheak, "Maybe I am useless..." She whispered, coming to a halt, the tears beginning to flow like waves, "I'm sorry, Cricketpaw, I didn't mean to be..."

Cardianlswipe watched as his brother emerged from the bush, anger pulsing from his pelt. He hadn't been close enough to hear the conversation, but could hear the angered tones. Once Cricketpaw came out, he glanced behind the bush to watch as Yuccapaw left. "We can't leave without them..." He half told himself, and half told his brother. "We've come this far..."

Brighteyes kept her maw close to the forest floor as they traveled, desperately searching for Darkstar's scent. "Try to single his scent out from the others." She instructed Lionpaw, also keeping her ears pricked just in case he was close by, although she doubted it.
