Ashfeather laughed, and paddled around. She started to feel cold so she clambered out of the water and shook out her fur. She groomed her fur quickly but was still cold. "Brr!" She said with a smile. "S-so c-chilly."

Aridstar heard a loud screech, she looked straight above and saw a hawk. It swooped down into the forest for a split second, but came back up with nothing. Hawks were very common in the marsh, but very deadly for cats as they were their main prey. "Everyone take cover in a den, quickly! Until the hawk is gone, we can not exit the den. Make sure nobody strays from the dens, and-" she stopped when the hawk started to swoop in to grab a cat. Aridstar knew her clan came first,
so she first had to make sure everyone made it to a den safely. She helped direct cats who were confused in what was going on or didn't know where to go.

Jaggedbreeze sprinted to den as fast as she could, which ended up being the leaders den. She slowed down as she entered the large den. Jaggedbreeze sat down and could see from the entrance of the den, all the cats pouring in to other dens.

"Dear tummy, sorry about the butterflies.
It's not my fault. I swear. It's hers."

Owleyes smiled "Why be a good warrior when you can be a great queen!" He paused, and went back to finishing up grooming Shadewing. Then he stopped for a moment and continued speaking "Battling as a warrior only brings you win or defeat, being a queen only brings you beautiful ki-" He was cut off when Aridstar called for them all to get to a den quickly. He could see the hawk starting to swoop in. "We have to hurry" he said to Shadewing, and quickly stood up. Owleyes ran to the nearest den, the apprentices den. He had not had the time to see if Shadewing was following him, but he was sure she was.

Flame blinked, the overly-sized rabbit held tight in his maw. There was one alligator off in the distance, but he wasn't going around there. Flame trotted back into the forest that was right next to the marsh. While he was alert,
he could spot Reedclan across the flat land before he entered the forest. As he made his way back to his nest, he stepped on multiple twigs that made loud cracks when broken under the weight of his paws. The rabbit was heavy so it added a lot of weight to Flame. He heard a loud screech up above, which had turned out to be a hawk. He picked up the pace, the rabbits leg's dragging on the ground nosily. Hawks were never good news, they knew cats lived here so that was their most common prey. The hawk had obviously noticed all the noise Flame was making, because it dove for him, its talons stretched wide and ready to grab him. Flame came to halt immediately, with the help of a tree root sticking far out of the ground. His paws caught that when he stopped, and the hawk wasn't able to grab him. Two of its talons skimmed the top of his head. One only hitting his fur, and one leaving a large scratch.

As soon as the hawk failed to grab him, he sprinted hard to his den, successfully making it. He set the rabbit down on the cold, hard floor. The scratch he got wasn't bad at all, it was bleeding only a bit. He poked his head outside of his den and saw the hawk circling above. "Looks like I'm gonna be stuck in here until that vile vermin is gone" he muttered to himself.

With a screech of alarm, Shadewing shot after Owleyes, hurdling into the apprentice's den while the hawk spiraled above. Panting, she pressed herself into a corner, careful to stay close to the ground. Being so small granted the tabby great speed, but she had little stamina or strength, and her agility came in only short bursts. Hawk! The word raced through her mind over and over again, making the warrior flatten herself low to the ground, hackles lifted. Unconsciously, she unsheathed her claws and hooked them into the ground, anchoring herself as the hawk terrorized the camp. "Owleyes!" she hissed, not moving her gaze from the hawk. "WHat should we do?" she wailed through clenched teeth, eyes locked on the bird of prey swooping overhead.

Ashfeather heard a cry and looked up. A hawk was diving towards them. "Hawktalon! We have to get back to Camp! " She cried out, claws swatting at the repeatedly charging bird. They werent to far from it, she could see the enetrance rught there. The hawk grabbed ahold of her leg and she shrieked, scratching at it while it rose higher. Finally it lost its grip and dropped her. She landed on the ground with a thud and she looked around frantically. "Hawktalon!" She dragged herself to the nearest shelter which turned out to contain another cat. To scared to say anything, she curled up near the entrance, staring out. Did Hawktalon make It Okay? She glanced at the cat. It was a loner she assumed.

The sleek black tom helped Aridstar wrangle cats into the dens, thankfully being a bit closer to Falconwing and Minnowpaw when the hawk screeched. He helped them into the closest den, needing to get to the newest warriors before they wound up as hawk food.

The blackish brown tabby tom flattened his ears, hearing Aridstar and the hawk. He grabbed Minnowpaw by her scruff, as she was somehow still asleep. He took her into one of the dens, which was the warrior's den.

The brown and white tabby tom called out for Ashfeather, as she was taken out of sight by the hawk. He made it into the camp, too worried about Ashfeather to care if the hawk came back. Is she alright? I need to tell Aridstar this if she doesn't know already.

Owleyes was glad Shadewing had gotten in here safely. A wave of relief washed over him, but quickly faded away when he wondered if Littlesprout was okay. "We will just have to wait it out. Hawks are common, so this won't be the only time this happens. What we would really have to worry about are bobcats, cougars, and red wolves. Thank Starclan those don't come around as often" he said to Shadewing, watching a few cats come into the apprentices den.

Flame retreated farther into his den, taking the rabbit with him. He took a few bites of the rabbit, spitting out the fur as he did. Flame could smell another cat, as well as hear them. He swallowed the bite of rabbit and looked up, his amber eyes staring at the she-cat who was curled up near the entrance of the den. "Who invited you in here" he joked,
emerging a bit from the back of the den, "You hungry? I've got more than I can eat. Mine as well feed it to the crows if it doesn't get finished." He nosed the large rabbit closer to the she-cat in case she wanted some.

Ashfeather shifted and winced, looking down at her back legs. Deep talon wounds were in them and she began to clean up the blood. She turned to the other cat and gave a weak smile. "Thanks. I'm sorry to intrude, the hawk was blocking my access to my camp." She admitted, taking a timid bite of the rabbit before pushing it back to the cat. Poking her head out of the den, she looked up at the sky. Was the hawk still there? Is Hawktalon safe? She wondered before realizing that the stranger was still there. "Oh where are my manners. Apologies, I'm Ashfeather."

Flame noticed the wounds she had received from the hawk when she licked them. "That's fine. My names Flame" he said, noticing the wounds Ashfeather received from the hawk once she began cleaning up the blood. "Looks like you got it worse" he meowed, heading farther into his den "I'm no genius on treating wounds, but I know a few things. Living by yourself is tough, you have to know how to care for yourself in times of need." He approached a wall at the back of his den that was made completely of stone rocks. He had no idea what was behind those rocks. But whatever it was, they didn't want anybody to find it.
It was stacked too perfectly to be made naturally, so it was obviously either man-made or made by the ancient cats. Flame swiped a paw between two rocks and came out with a paw full of cobwebs. He did it a few times between different rocks before finally having enough. Flame padded back to Ashfeather and set the cobwebs on the ground, "Here. You can wrap this around your leg to soak up the blood. If its not enough, I can get some moss."
