Skylar||24||Loner||Fox Den||Silverstar (Fox Patrol)

Skylar watched with wide eyes as the fox's jaw closed around a cat's neck. She stood frozen as the life drained from his eyes. She wanted to move forward and help the tom but her body wouldn't allow her to. All she could see was her father laying on the ground, still growling at a dog, pausing only to yell at her to run. That was when she was still a kit. She didn't know why it was coming back to haunt her now. She had faced foxes and even dogs before without a problem. But this time was somehow different. Suddenly she snapped out of it and rushed forwards, her leg screaming in agonising pain. The leader was now out cold, laying beside the tom. She glanced back quickly to see if the warrior who had joined in was okay before turning back to the leader. "You have a medicine cat, right?" she asked. Run and get them," she said to no one in particular without waiting for a responce. It felt weird telling them what to do. It really wasn't her place, but she hated seeing cats get hurt and she wanted to do whatever she could to help.

Firepaw~

Firepaw perked her ears and echoed pebblepaw, "please Crowfeather?" She meowed in long syllables. She flicked her tail a couple times and looked at fallenpaw.

Crowfeather purred. "Ok."

Burnet turned around, running back outside the den. She ran towards Silverstar, the tom and the other cat. "What happened?" She asked, panicking, as she circled round, lying down next to Silverstar, "Silverstar?" Burnet meowed, tapping the cat's shoulder with a paw.

Skylar watched carefully as the she-cat's chest rose and fell. She was just barely breathing but at least they knew she was alive "I think she lost too much blood," Skylar answered while looking around for something to cover the wound with while they waited for a medicine cat to arrive. "She should be okay as long as a medicine cat gets here soon."

"Get some cobwebs," Burnet replied without thinking, "I may not be their medicine cat but I can do enough to help from my own knowledge." She looked at Silverstar, worry clouding her gaze.

Sagemint instantly darted off towards camp. He knew that Silverstar needed a medicine cat and fast. He stopped for a moment to scent the air, knowing the medicine cats may be searching for herbs. He saw Petalpaw and ran over to her."Silverstars injured!"he gasped, hoping she knew enough to help. She wasn't a full medicine cat, but SIlverstar's life could be slipping away right now.

Skylar nodded. She raced off putting her mind to the task ahead. She remembered seeing a large cobweb on the way here not too far away. When she finally got there she batted a spider off of the web. "Sorry," she meowed while gathering the webs. She ran back and skidded to a stop dropping the webs next to the other loner. She was worried for the she-cat. She had lost a pot of blood. She couldn't help her father those many moons ago but now she had a chance to help this cat and she would do everything she could. She watched as the tom that had helped in the fight ran to find a medicine cat.

Getting up, Burnet nodded at the other cat, calming herself down, and picking a bit of the web herself, "Put it onto a serious wound, and apply pressure to it," she stated, moving round to apply her bit onto a bleeding patch, "Try not to hurt her, it should be enough until help arrives."

Silverstar, still unconscious, is motionless. The bleeding died down a little bit due to the cobwebs, and would keep her alive for a little bit, but she needed a medicine cat.

Daisytail smiles and splashes Crowfeather before dunking his head underwater. She pounces back laughing and ready for a counter attack.

• Petalpaw • Tags: Darksky and Sagemint •
Petalpaw hears her name being called and runs out of the nursery. "What do you mean she's hurt!" She meows frantically before running towards Darksky at the fresh kill pile. "Darksky we have to go Silverstar is hurt!" She meows before running into the medicine den. She grabs horsetail, marigold, and oak leaves because she knew they helped bleeding and infection and some cobwebs for bleeding. She also picks up some thyme incase she was in shock when she woke up. She sets the herbs down on a beech leaf and picks up the bundle. She hopes she wasn't forgetting anything and runs out of camp, not even waiting to see if Darksky was behind her. "What happened?!" She mumbles through the bundle of herbs as she follows Sagemint through the forest.
