Cedarclaw felt prideful at Thistlestar's praise. He dipped his head at Lilyfern, "I will keep that in mind, thank you."

DuskLight sat in front of NightFang, lifting his paws with his tail. "Sore pads..." He muttered in deep concentration. He brushed over NightFangs paws gently, eyes narrowed. "Not swelled like a bee sting..probably was just a bramble" DuskLight smiled in content before he trotted off to retrieve the needed herb. He returned with a few small dock leaves, dropping them in front of NightFang. "This might sting a little" DuskLight quickly set to the task of chewing the leaves. When finished he gently rubbed the juice of the dock leaves onto NightFangs pads. It was a quick and simple task. DuskLight tidied away the remaining leaves to the herb storage. "Is there anything else?" He called from inside

"Thank you Dusklight, that's all." Nightfang's paws didn't immediately feel better but he knew his paws wouldn't feel so bad after some rest. He left the den careful not to disturb Speckledmoon. He came out to see Cedarclaw appointed as deputy. "Congratulations Cedarclaw!"

Harumi sat down with an audible thump in front of Fang, eyes filled with an intensity that made it obvious he was hanging onto his every word. Kamuy used to tell him stories all the time; granted, they were made up, but they were exciting to hear nonetheless. He bobbed his head vigorously to show he was indeed giving the tom his full attention.

The commotion was enough to reach the drowsy ears of the white-and-ginger warrior, causing her to stir within the depths of REM sleep. As soon as her awareness bled back in, she wrenched herself from her rather hazy dream, forgetting it immediately as her nose twitched, feeling slowly returning to her tucked limbs. "Dusklight?" she slurred quietly, blinking sea-blue eyes with a visible struggling effort to keep them open. "Oh. Where's Nightfang gone?"

DuskLights ears perked at the calling of his name. He returned the leaves and padded out. He stifled a laugh at the overly drowsy state of SpeckledMoon. "Morning sleepy kit" he chuckled. He sat in front of her, tail resting on his paws. "NightFang left only a few moments ago, after I helped him with his sore pads. I doubt he has left the camp yet so you can still catch him" DuskLight watched as she struggled to keep her eyes open. "Are you still tired?" He laughed at his own question.

Lilyfern
Lilyfern sat quietly outside the elders den. Sh looked to her kits. "I'm so proud of you" she smiled. Lily never thought that her daughter would be a leader and her son the bravest warrior.
Whistlepaw
She padded out of camp, leaf-bare was inching closer and they desprerly needed catmint, with out it, it would be hard to fight green cough.
moontail and thistlestar
Moontail padded up to his sister. "You chose a good deputy sis" he purred. She nodded. "thanks moontail" she replied.

Nightfang thought he heard Speckledmoon in Dusklight's den but something kept him from checking on her. He stood where he was lost in his own mind.

Cedarclaw

Cedarclaw not completely sure what to do stayed where he was. He was still a little surprised that is was him that was picked as deputy.

The effect of the poppy seeds had dulled slightly due to their use, but as with all sleep-inducing treatments, they tended to linger after waking. Especially since she'd woken quite early. She stifled a yawn and stretched her limbs out in front of her, tail curling over her back paws. "Did you use dock?" she mewed drowsily, not really thinking before she spoke. "I'm tired, but only because of the poppy, I'd think. Thank you." She sounded amused as she spoke, though the reason itself didn't seem to register exactly.

She kept walking, simwttines she would sent for cat mint but always came up empty. Depending on the weather catmint was hard to fund and this season was proving to be the most difficult.
