Graywhisker rolled his blue eyes before he started to pad to the direction of camp. As well he didn't like being ordered around but he had to listen no matter how much he hated it.

The dusty brown tom watched Mossleap carry her fish as she started forward before realizing he had left his two plump mice behind. Flattening his ears in embarrassment, he trotted back to where he dropped them and grasped them carefully. "Feel free to lead the way Mossleap," he mumbled through the fur of the prey as the she-cat was already ahead of the patrol. The tom stayed behind the rest of the patrol with Fawnleap in order to keep an eye on the patrol's two new additions.

I silently listen to the two cats above me. It sounded to me as if one of them was attempting to ditch the other. I continue to listen, though I'm growing quite cramped in the dark hole. I still hope I'm alone in this hole, recalling the rattlesnake is seen last moon. I shake my head, wanting to leave the enclosed space as soon as possible. I'm wondering how long the two cats will stay above me, an if it's worth alerting them of my position of it means abandoning the burrow. I shake my brown tabby fur, causing some of the dirt to fall out of my fur, but to my dismay, it's quickly replaced with fresh dirt.

I ignore Finchsteps comment, continuing on towards camp. "Finchstep, could you make sure our 'guests' don't sneak any peaks?" I meow, hoping to seem more friendly, rather than bossy.

( oh gosh I was just reading my previous post and I just realized how sarcastic sounding Finchstep's comment was c': It wasn't actually meant to be rude, sorry! also, I was just looking at Mossleap's picture and she looks like she could be related to Finchstep haha ))

The tom looked up at Mossleap before mumbling through the mice's fur as the patrol neared the camp, "Sure thing Mossleap." He moved up to pad alongside Pearly offering the kittypet a small smile as the patrol moved through the desert. The warm sand grains slipped between his toes and the hot sun beat down on Finchstep, yet it was still considered slightly cooler than usual. Still, he couldn't wait to get back and lounge under the shade. He still hadn't had the chance to eat anything and the soft growling of his stomach caused the warrior to flush slightly.

I glance back at the small brown Tom. "You will do as your told. Unless you'd rather we drive you off ourselves."I glare at the Tom, trying to get the message across that were strong enough to make him do anything. I hoped that the Tom would decide to come with us without force. For if Scorchstar were to agree, and he didn't want too..... No. He'll love clan life. I turn around picking up my fish, and continuing.
