Really sorry, went on a weekend vacation with the fam and had absolutely no service. I'm back for a week, though)

Redstar screeched in fury and rolled over with the tom still latched on to his neck. He crushed his enemy beneath him before standing. He swiped at him and bared his sharp fangs. It was almost sunhigh, and he needed to announce the new deputy soon. He needed this fight to be over already. He stood tall with Moonsong beside him and took a step forward, threatening them. His muscles rippled under his coat. "Leave," he declared, a deep, throaty growl in his throat.

Evaan struggled backwards. Moonsong had beaten him pretty badly, for a she-cat. He snatched up Evaline in his jaws and raced away, not even looking back to see if their other member was following. He fled the territory, his tail tucked between his legs. He limped badly and he could no longer see through his left eye. His right ear was completely missing and he was sure he was missing part of his tail.

the blue tomcat kicked off the ginger leader before swiping at his face a final time. "oh, we'll leave, but we'll be back," he hissed defiantly before disappearing into the brush.

[ don't really know what to do with partridgepaw since evaline marked her up pretty bad. ]

Redstar looked at his daughter and nudged her. "Let's get back to camp. Moonsong, get the prey," he ordered and limped along the path back towards camp. He let Partridgepaw lean on him as they brushed through the bracken into camp. He shook his head and headed directly towards the medicine den, not answering any question any at asked him. The only thing he said was: "I'll explain at the meeting."

the brown tabby stared upward, jaw protruding slightly. she could only breathe, her body seemingly paralyzed and her tail limp.

the tom watched as the patrol entered camp, following redstar. "i knew i smell rogues!" he exclaimed, the scent of evaan hanging in the air. "where were you attacked? shall i take out a a patrol after the meeting to make sure they've gone?"

the black tomcat observed redstar and his daughter, satisfaction lingering in his gaze. he couldn't wait to tell the cats of the dark forest when he slept tonight . . .

Redstart looked at Tallshadow. "I'll explain everything momentarily." He left Partridgepaw by the medicine den and leaped up onto the Highbranch. "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather beneath the Highbranch for a clan meeting!" He yowled, though most of the clan was already gathered. He began. "I must choose a new deputy. The position cannot be empty any longer. I say these words before StarClan, so that the spirits of our warrior ancestors may hear and approve of my choice. The new deputy of Risingclan is Beartalon. Beartalon, you have proven yourself as a worthy warrior time and time again. I trust you with this position. Do you accept?" He asked, standing straight up, the sun behind him darkening his fur so he looked like a shadow to the cats below as he stood on the branch. You could easily see the wiseness and authority of him just by the way he was standing.
