"Good morning, my dears." Mistywing purred a soft, loving greeting to her two kits, who fidgeted in their spots, eager to get up. She gave their heads a few more brief licks before she stood up on her paws, arching her back in a comfortable stretch. Relishing the moment as the tension was released from her body, she returned to her kits, curling around tbhem to keep them warm.

i glared at the clan cat, my defence not lowering one bit. cautiously, i abandoned the shrew, climbing up the tree with a mew of worry.

Snowfeather watched the unknown kit until her heart stopped, noticing icewhisker,Mosspaw,Featherpaw and sparkstep she took a few steps back "why are you here!?" She growled, tears forming join her eyes "why have you come to found me icewhisker?"

i froze, my eyes opening up widely as i watched in fear when all the cats surrounded me, before i swung at the one closest to me, my eyes still frozen. my small and fragile claws barely scraped the skin, but got caught in-between the mysterious she cats ear. "you have made my life as bad as the place with no stars! you've taken all of the food, and ever some of you attacked my mother. she's gone now, so be sorry." i spat, hissing as i bared my teeth with a flick of my tail. lowering my ears angrily, i changed my worried look to a more, dangerous or obnoxious look.

If you want to know the place of no stars, my father is there, he just believed in Starclan to not get a new life. You could get killed in there in a flash, for there are the most dark warriors you'll see.... If you stay a loner, kit, life will be much darker." she said calmly, not feeling any pain from the scratch.

i glared at the young cat, my face bursting into complete laughter. "you're a clan cat, so for all i care, you're whole family can die! i have no feelings for a cat who's a clan cat! i'd love to tell you that you're wrong. being a 'loner', or whatever you call us, has much more meaning to it than having everyone else look after you. it's called having a life, isn't not meant to be easy. my mama told me that. -and no, life will be good when i don't need annoying cats like you guys to tell me what's wrong and what's right!"

[If Fire(kit) somehow joins the clan, perhaps Mistywing could contribute as a foster mother to him?]

{{maybe! if sparkstep leaves the clan before that, fire will probably go to her as she would be a loner as would grow up against the clans. if not, then sure c: but that's only if snowfeather doesn't adopt him~

Featherkit took each step slowly, looking around the unknown area surrounding her with big crystal blue eyes, she meowed in shock as a unknown cold feeling made her shiver, feeling her mothers presence again she snuggled up beside her sister "I'll bet I'll be a leader before you!" She meowed excitedly.

Snowfeather watched fire(kit) go towards her, she looked at Featherpaw signalling her for silence "Everyone calm down!" She snapped, using her tail to keep the kit warm "I understand he situation and all but yelling on the top of our lungs isn't going to help.." She said hoarsely, eyeing each cat before looking at the fragile kit "Just ignore them fire.. I know how you feel.." She said in a sad tone trying her best to get fire(kit) to trust her.

"It's Icestar now," Icestar mewed quietly. "And the clan needs you... Ivypaw, your apprentice needs you... I need you Snowfeather. You were my friend. And Jaystar's too, before her illness. She passed away three moons ago... I'm sorry, Snowfeather."

Mistywing chuckled softly at her daughter's remark.
"It'll be along time until you become leader, Featherkit. Remember, Icestar will have to pass away before you become leader. You don't want that happening, do you?" She reminded her with a light, amused tone. Giving Featherkit a single stroke of her tail, she nestled with her kits, content.
