Stormheart purrs faintly, noting the relief and then shock on her apprentices face. "The coice is yours Jaypaw. You may join if you want, or remain here. If you do chose to join my patrol with Bearstar, just stay hidden though. Only observe alright?" She then offers. It was true that the young cat had only been training for a moon or so now, but still. The best experiance in battle was when you witnessed one.
Hearing some shuffling come from Bearstars den, she watches as Wolfrunner exits the den next. So, they were ready then? "You can decide while i talk with Bearstar alright?" She adds before getting to her paws. With a final look at Jaypaw, Stormheart makes her way to the leaders den, poking her head inside again. "Which cats you i gather for our patrol?" she asks with a faint tilt to her head.

Ferretstripe was practically glowing with pride as he exited Bearstar's den, infinitely pleased that his older brother had taken his advice so readily. Not that he had any qualms about his and his brother's relationship, it just still felt good to be recognised by someone who he looked up to so much. He took a little leap out into the sunlight and swept his gaze around the clan, spotting his apprentice with Birdpaw. He then called out to the younger tom "Oi! Fogpaw!" Then began making his way over. He needed to have a serious chat about this badger ordeal with him.

Battuft began making her way towards the entrance of camp. She allowed a small look of amusement to cross her features as the little ginger she-cat bombarded her with questions.Whilst she wasn't a cat exactly known for sharing her feelings she felt it would be okay to be honest with her apprentice. She slowed her pace a little so her bulky frame was beside Littlepaw before glancing down at her to answer. "I'll miss anyone who passes on, but I find comfort in the fact that they went to Starclan and some day, when I go there, I'll probably see them again." She meowed, allowing a rare motherly tone into her voice. "I think that Bearstar's a wise leader. He'll do whatever he can to keep the clan safe even if he has to chase that badger off himself." She answered neutrally

He saw Stormheart's head appear, and beckoned her inside his den once more. "Wolfrunner is organising the cats who are going. I just need your opinion quickly. If we get the badger to sunning rocks, will it be best to attack from the left or right?" He nodded to the sand drawing he had done on the floor of sunning rocks. There was much to do. He had to finalise his battle plans, tell the rest of the clan what he was doing, and then actually find the badger. Who knows where it could be!?

Stormheart nods once in uderstanding, before slipping into the den at the toms becon. Peering down at the rough sketch of sunningrocks, the she-cat tips her head to the side slightly. "Hm. I have an idea actually. If their will be ten of us, we should split up. Have a group of two chase the badger toward sunningrocks, where the two groups of four shall be waiting. One group attacks from the right, the other the left," she scratches two marks on the dirt where the two patrols would be waiting, "The two runners can catch their breath before joining if they must as well. The runers need to be able to get the badgers attention though. Seeing as the beast seems to be rather violet, it shouldnt take much to get it to chase our running patrol. Seeing as badgers are slow, the warriors dont have to be overly fast either." She proposes. Stormheart was a decent hunter, but fighting was her specialty. Thinking of strategies normally wasnt an issue for her either. So, satisfied, she raises her gaze up to Bearstars to hear his opinion.

Ferretstripe gave him a soft purr as he grew close enough for the younger Tom to hear it. He seemed in good spirits this morning, which was always a good thing. "Bearstar has decided to go after the badger that killed our last deputy." He meowed, seriousness returning this his tone. "He said we'll need to bring apprentices..." He went on. Fogpaw was strong, and brave, a loyal cat to his clan and a good apprentice. But he could be foolhardy and headstrong and Ferretstripe would rather die than see him seriously injured. "If you want to come you can. But a Badger's very dangerous, you have to do everything I tell you and never rush in."

Battuft gave the younger female a sympathetic look and then leaned down a little to gently touch her nose to the little one's ginger furred shoulder. Attempting to comfort her. "Bearstar is a fine leader... Don't you worry." She meowed calmly. He ear flicking off to the side after a moment as she heard the movement of a bird in a tree. "Just you feeling that about Fogpaw tells me you would be a good leader....A good leader is modest, a leader isn't the best at fighting or hunting, they're the best at calming down a squabble, at putting the elders and kits needs before their own, at going into every situation with a level head and if they do need help, they're the best at being open to new ideas" She meowed comfortingly, With a little more confidence she believed there was nothing stopping Littlepaw from one day becoming a great leader. Fogpaw was too much like herself, too headstrong and battle ready.

Future Names: Mistpaw, Mistfeather

History: Mistkit was born to a young she-cat with the entitlement "Frisha". Her mother was a gentle white cat with black patches. Her father is unknown, however her mother promised her the forest was much safer than where she currently was. For a moon or two now, she's been living beneath the cool trees of the woods. The wind in her fur, and her paws on smooth terrain, this was a much better life for her. Now and then Mistkit grieves at that lost of her mother's sweetness and the warmth of her thick coat.

Complexion: Mistkit is playful, however she gets scared easily. She's slightly more mature than the rest of the kits in the Nursery, however, over all, she's a joyful, happy spirit that is very interested in the life of a Warrior.
