Cedarstar smiled lightly and licked his chest a few times in anticipation. He turned to the black tom and began. "As you know, once the fire came to the territory, the clans had to dissolve into one." Cedarstar glanced sadly at a burnt, fallen tree beside him, and continued. "I have yet to choose a deputy for that clan. Cinderclan." With wide sparkling eyes, he shifted his broad gray shoulders, proud. "I'm confident in all of your abilities, your loyalty, your strength, your compassion." With a small bow in his head, Cedarstar purred. "It is my hope that you will accept my offer of being deputy. You have surely earned it." Glancing back up at the tom in front of him he waited patiently, his head tilted in a nervous, but excited question.

Featherkit
Featherkit shrugged her tiny shoulders, and looked towards the path to the river. "He might be... But it's up to us to protect the clan!" With a mischievous glare in her eye, she purred towards Frostkit. "We're going to figure out who it is!" As she continued making her way through the burnt vegetation, she smiled towards the tom. "I'm really glad you came, Frostkit."

-Her eyes narrow as she thinks of leaving camp again. It grew rather quiet since the patrol went out; which in that time she'd hunting a small kill for herself. Too quiet, no one around to pick on or even a measly apprentice seeking advice. Flicking her tail, she breaks the leg bone of her kill ad stands.

Luke
-Since the fish was already dead, he began to eat one if his least favorite things. Next to lizards and frogs, it was quite terrible to get past the scales and layer of slime meat. Gross, wet and rather unsatisfying overall. Shaking off his pelt, he cleans out the taste grooming his own pelt.

She decided to go back and hunt again. Snowhine smelled a unfamiliar scent and looked around noticing a cat eati g a fish. "Who are you?" She questioned with a scowl realizing the cat was probably a loner.

Fawnstep let out a small sigh, alone. She perked her ears as she heard a faint rustling, but didn't want to get up and miss her clanmates who were coming back. Her tail was flicking slightly, and she looked down at her three pieces of prey. At least it was enough to feed the elders, her eyes went back up to the silent forest. Yawning, she slowly lay down, making sure not to make too much noise. Fawnstep placed her head on her paws, waiting for Crowshadow and Cedarstar to come back from their patrol.

-Ears flick up at the voice, not amused by the timing. Running now would surly end up in a cramp one way or another. "Does it matter to you who I am? Either way, dispite what I say, your going to chase me around like I'm some wild animal." He didn't half doubt the forest cats aggression even if the territory was big enough for fifty cats.

She stared at the cat "I'm just asking you to leave..." Snowshine grumbled her blue eyes cold. "Prey is scarce and we have many cats to feed." She said with a slight flick of the tail. She then noticed her muddy fur and grumbled not wanting to clean it at the moment.

-Gives her a dull look, figuring she must be kidding. "You don't scare me. Besides, the river and moorlands have endless food all year round. If prey is scarce for you, your not looking in the right places sweetheart." It was risky picking around with a forest cat, but her argument was weak. They could fight and hunt, but could they stand up for false reason?

With an angry lash of her tail she scowled at the cat forcing herself not to tear his pelt off. All the herbs were burnt to a crisp.. She padded away a dark angry look on her face. Snowshine sat by her prey and licked the mud from her pelt revealing her bright white fur.
