The apprentice's ear flicked happily and she padded off after the two cats. "Thank you," she repeated to her leader, a tiny purr catching onto her voice. She offered a small smile to the tom apprentice.

FeralStar smiled, " It's okay! " She mewed. " Now here's the clearing. " She sat down and made the two quit squirming, " How do you fight? " she asked.

Featherpaw followed his leader, his tail happily held high. He gave a mischievous smile and turned his head towards Westpaw. He leaned in close enough so their pelts touched, and then he whispered, "No more battle tips for you~"
He ran ahead and sat in the clearing.
"It depends." He answered his leader. "A warrior should have a different fighting technique when he has the first move, when he is surprised, and if he doesn't have the first move." He calculated in his head all the different things you should do in different situations.

Westpaw rolled her eyes and bumped the apprentice's shoulder playfully. "Didn't need them the first time, don't need them now," she said, trotting after him. As she caught up with him and her leader, she paused and sat down, listening intently, ready to prove her words to Featherpaw. She smirked slightly as the tom answered Feralstar and she responded with a task for the two apprentices. The she cat glanced in back of her, then traced her gaze back to her leader. "So, we just crouch and pounce?" she asked curiously.
