"Her name is Silence for a reason...beware." Says James. " i know where she makes den. Be careful." a grin and he is gone into the shadows of the trees. " Tempest.." he murmmers. "Call my name if you need me," he calls over his shoulders to the dissapearing hunter.

Tempest huffs a fare-well and watches as the hunter dissapears, then she gets up and walks with the scent of the hunters companion Pyro. At least she could so as much. Standing at a path in plain sight she then dissapears.

Pyro looked over James cautiously, but he straightened, his grip on his empty bow. The hunter lingered for a few minutes after Slater told him to go find Dumah, but after James started translating for the she - wolf, he turned and disappeared into the shadows of the forest, his bow readied with an arrow for just in case Dumah fired at him again. He understood why his cousin had told him to go off and find his sister, but he wasn't sure if he could most definitely trust James and his she - wolf. Pyro sneered at the thought. His own sister was raised by wolves. James probably knew human tongue before he was Taken and adopted by a wolf pack, which is why he knew human tongue, but if Dumah had never come in contact with humans before -- hadn't grown with them to learn to speak like them -- then she couldn't speak how he and Slater would. They would have to teach her.
His guard was brought back up when he noticed the she - wolf, Tempest, on the path behind him, but he didn't raise an arrow toward her or show her any hostility. He didn't want to end up having to kill a wolf without reason. Pyro shifted his gaze around, looking for anything that would show him where Dumah had gone, and soon noticed footprints. He followed them, trying to ignore that there were wolf prints there, too -- one seemed to drag its feet, even as it ran. He soon came to a fallen tree, and noticed that there was mud on the bark, and no human footprints on the other side -- only paw prints. The moment he went to stand, his gaze fell on a pair of wolves just ahead of himself -- a black and red one and a black and gray one. He drew the string of his bow back, but he noticed, as the pair walked toward him, the red and black wolf seemed to be being guided by the wolf at his side.

Taking off, Slater tracked his cousins footprint and estimated how far away he would be from the trees they had spoken off. "Stupid wolf and boy" He muttered to himself. Dogging the trees, he continued at a steady pace towards the glen. Not far off from it, he took a breather and leaned against a tree and waited for Pyro. "He should be here soon" He mummered to himself as he examined the surroundings.

Pyro backed slowly away from the wolves, and when he noticed that they had stopped, he paused. They had not once snarled at him or growled -- why hadn't they? He'd drawn a weapon on them. Surely they must feel threatened. The hunter shook his head, returned his arrow to his quiver, and slung the bow up over his shoulder. He then turned and made his way toward the glen, following Slater's footprints. It was obvious he would meet his cousin there, and hopefully Slater would not be kept waiting for long.

Silence sat by a small lake in the glen, her quiver laying beside her and her bow beside it. She'd been coming here since he was about seven summers old, and remembered the first time her wolf - mother had brought her here, as a birthday present. The Taken Child hummed a soft tune as she cleaned the blade of her hunting dagger, one of the tunes that the wolves used to howl. It was a victory song, her first father had told her, the song they had first sung when they'd won the war. Dumah had never been allowed to go to war with them -- her packmates were always afraid she'd be killed or taken by the humans. So Dumah only knew they'd won when she heard the song, since she was always told to stay in her den. She always listened, of course. Silence never wished to defy her father's orders. But now, even she could tell that the wolves' numbers were dwindling due to the wars and the human hunters always simply hunting the wolves for "fun". The Taken girl sneered at the thought, though the tune she hummed never broke off.
