Twigsnap nodded, letting his fur lie flat. He knew the last thing Eveningstar would want to do is to ask for help, but they were definitely in danger this year. He sighed. The thought of asking for help annoyed him, but there was nothing else to do. "Good. After all, it's not like we haven't helped them in the past."

"Exactly. There was the poison in their streams a few years ago, and we let them stay on the edge of our territory until the twolegs had cleaned up their mess. I'm sure they'll see sense eventually, Robinstar is a reasonable leader, he'll see our need." Eveningstar said, heading into the camp. She grabbed a small fish and walked to the small piece of moist ground that the warriors ate by, where she laid down and began to eat. It was the driest place in camp outside of the nursery and the stream splitter, though even that had water constantly lapping over it's edge now.
