Cloverpaw flicked her tail and turned away from Feather as she spoke to her. She padded along the rover, occasionaly flicking leaves into the cool water with her tail. She sat on a rock, away from Feather but every now and then she cast a glance towards her.

JayChaser nodded and smiled. He scented the air and soon caught the smell of a robin in the breeze. Stalking it carefully it never knew what hit it. A loose feather stuck to JayChaser's nose and he sneezed.

Feather padded confidently into the river.She kept going deeper until she had to swim to keep her head above the water.This was the perfect way to get clean."Wanna swim?", she asked Cloverpaw paddling easily over to her."You can swim right?"

Cloverpaw froze as Feather asked her if she could swim. Not only could she not swim, she was petrified of the river. She managed to shake her head, but her clear gaze was still focused on the crystal water.

Feather nodded sympathatically.She could clearly see the fear gleaming in Cloverpaw's eyes."That's alright", she mewed, dismissing the question she had asked.

JayChaser nodded and smiled. He scented the air and soon caught the smell of a robin in the breeze. Stalking it carefully it never knew what hit it. A loose feather stuck to JayChaser's nose and he sneezed.

The young fox could barely supress a laugh, watching as a robin's dark feather stuck inside JayChaser's nose. Crookedsmile's nose twitched in an irritated fashion just imagining the itching sensation inside of his nostrils. He padded around, tail swishing, as he scented for something more exotic than just rabbit or birds. Though he wasn't rewarded with what he had hoped for, he did catch a plump mouse that had been nibbling on a seed, unsuspecting of it's predator.

Cloverpaw quietly rose to her paws and shook her pelt until it fluffed out. She then started to groom it down a bit. She glanced at Feather, "Can you fetch me some catmint?" She asked, then added in, "You can find it near twoleg place." Without waiting for an answer she smiled, "Thanks." She mewed and turned around to find the poppy seeds she needed.

Feather slipped out of the water.She shook out her fur then began padding towards twoleg place.Not only would she find catmint but she needed to ask Frosty to join her in the forest.She ran swiftly, her cream colored fur blown back against her nimble figure."Frosty!", she called jumping up on his fence."Yes", came a reply a moment before he landed on the fence beside her."Would you like to come with me and join Leafclan?It's a place were the forest cats and foxes live together in peace.And catch their own prey and stuff.", Feather mewed.Frosty looked into the color pool that was Feather's eyes.He could tell she loved it there.He thought about it for a moment.Feather sat nervous.Her paws shifted on the fence post.What if said no?"I'll come", Frosty mewed to Feather's obvious pleasure.They both leapt down and after they each had a mouthful of catmint they raced off into the forest.Even being a kitty pet the muscled rippled under Frosty's pure white fur.Though he wasn't as fast as the lean Feather.She slipped into camp a couple of moments before him."Follow me.I know where these need to go", the cream colored she-cat mewed and she lead him into Cloverpaw and Redmoon's den.She set her catmint down just inside.Frosty folowed her lead.His lime green eyes sparkled with interest at the way the foxes and the cats could live together so peacefully.But he had a feeling he would never be able to live with the foxes as peacefully as the clan cats could.Feather trotted up to Redmoon.Leaving the awe-struck Frosty behind where he stood outside the medicine den."I got you the catmint Cloverpaw said you needed", she informed him.

Cloverpaw reached a small patch of red flowers growing near a bush. She looked around so she could remember where she had found them. She nodded to herself and grabbed a leaf. She placed it beneath a flower and began gently shaking the flower, the seeds dropping into the leaf. Once she had enough seeds, Cloverpaw wrapped the leaf up and picked up the bundle, carrying it back to camp.

JayChaser stuck his tongue out at CrookedSmile in mock annoyance at being laughed at. "Nice catch," he commented.

"Thank you, miss," Redmoon smiled. "Youre more reliable than my apprentice."
