"Great. We're all ready then." Flamemask meowed as he led Willowkit and Minnowstream outside of camp.

Larkkit stretched out on the cold cavern floor, lazily looking up at her siblings. "I guess so." She mumbled, a little un-enthusiastically. "Hmm well not OasisClan..mom talks about it enough as it is..and BrackenClan well just the name of it sounds like a bore!" She exclaimed, dulling rolling her eyes. "What about Twoleg place? That sounds much more interesting then a bunch of overfed Clancats!" She decided, rolling over into a sitting position. "Don't worry about it Finch," she consoled, at her brother's worried mew, "I mean, when was the last time we really got into trouble? We can take care of ourselves! Then we'll upshow Bluepaw, Lightpaw and all those other goody two shoes apprentices! Flamemask could obviously see the potential in them, but oh no, just because they were kits, to the apprentices, that made them usless? Well they'd go to Twoleg place. And maybe they'd bring something back to really prove to the apprentices what kits were made of.

Scortchkit smirked and nodded to his sisters words, he liked that idea "lets do it, and why would you be afriad if someone found us, the only cat who pays mind to us is mother, havent seen dad around, probily busy" he shrugged

Finchkit sighed. "Fine. I'm only going to make sure you guys don't get in trouble," he pouted. He flicked his tail in annoyance and glared at Larkkit.

Sorrelkit giggled and did a little bounce of excitement.

“Well dad’s probably busy getting ready to become deputy. I mean, he’s obviously going to get it.” Larkkit scoffed. Though their father was an amazing warrior, no doubt about that, she couldn’t help but criticize him for not being as ambitious for the position. If Larkkit herself was old enough, there was one thing she knew for sure. She’d put everything she had in her for the position. Other cats were just obstacles, in the way, easily disposable. “Wouldn’t you be concerned about it if you were a warrior?” She purred, rather condescendingly.

Scortchkit shook his head, he didnt care about big positions like that your going to die anyways so whats the point "what he should be worried about if his own kits, but since hes not is the perfect time to explore ill go without you" he flicked his tail and padded out of camp yawning

Larkkit snorted at Scorchkit's attempt for arrogance. "Whatever you say Mr.Responsible." She scoffed, sticking close to Sorrelkit's side, who seemed to be the only other kit in the patrol, other then herself that is, who actually expressed an interest in exploring.

Scortchkit was already out of the tunnel looking around smiling "a lot better then being stuck in there with some freaks" he chuckled and bounded up a rocky hill, he smirked seeing sand, he tilted his head "that must be the Oasisclan" he purred and headed over quickly, he jumped in the sand purring "warm..."

"Shut your muzzle Scorchkit. Dad loves us and he's just a little busy right now! Don't you remember how he had to raise us when mom was trying to escape OasisClan? He's the best dad a kit could ask for. Now follow me and Larkkit or we'll tell Flamemask that you're wandering!" Sorrelkit spat. She bounded after him as he ran out of the tunnels. She pounced on top of him angrily. "Cant you just stick with us instead of always running away and being a loner? Come on Scorch!" she meowed. She was obviously annoyed with her brother but she really just wanted him to be a little more involved. He was always wandering off by himself.
