Cherrypaw had transitioned into a medicine cat apprentice within the one moon since her re-naming ceremony. The she-cat discovered that it was not much different than being a warrior cat apprentice, excluding the fact she did not learn battle and hunting training excessively. Her studies more so focused on herbs, but it was not uncommon for a medcine cat to be able to hunt and fight as well. She had been under the impression that those two subjects did not go together with a medic life. In fact, being able to protect one's self during a battle meant more opportunities to protect the clan mates longer. It was an interesting subject to her.
The apprentice nodded her head in congratulations to Sandpaw, agreeing that she had worked extremely hard the past moon to memorize the herbs.
